<-- Surprising Detroit would take another PF where they have Johnson, Maxiell, Sheed. I expected a C or a wing.

Re: Official Wizards Draft Thread: Version 2.0
I said the Cavs would destroy the Wizards in the playoffs because EJ would coach the same unimaginative way he always does. Small ball and veterans.DCZards wrote:Chocolate City Jordanaire wrote:[

Fire EG, hire CCJ. Because CCJ, along with about two-thirds of this board, clearly know more about NBA talent than EG.
The problem with the Wizards is they have an injury-prone, offensive-minded team that has no players with the fortitude to take a stand defensively outside of Brendan Haywood.
Caron Butler is a greatly overrated defender, but otherwise a very good player, but he can't stay healthy. Arenas is good enough to get you beat in the playoffs. Add to that injury prone.
When they get through paying Arenas and Jamison all this money to jack shots and to maybe not even make the playoffs next seaon MAYBE then they'll value defense on the perimeter or hard-nosed defenders who can hold position.
EG blundered greatly tonight because this kid McGee's not impactful defensively and cannot even hold position offensively or defensively.
When Hendrix is kicking ass next season just pretend EG and EJ are really great, DCZards.

Hey, that's good news for the Zards. You were wrong Young and you are probably TOTALLY wrong about McGee.

Surely we can move up 10 spots to take Bill Walker, no? #47 and a future 2nd ought to be enough

Whatever...according to you we silly little fans shouldn't have any opinions because we know nothing conpared to the all-around geniuses who are in the NBA.
You can take your this little shtick of yours and shove it where the sun don't shine.

Portland's last two drafts (this one and last year) have been incredible.

I'm slightly open-minded, because I was no fan of N1 last year and now think he's going to be a legit player in this league. But man, it's still disappointing to see us come away with one of the two guys that I pegged over a month ago as not wanting. Here's to lightning striking twice.

Our next pick should be Chuck Norris. A round house kick to LeBron is our only hope of making it past the Cavs in the playoffs.

Mcgee was 14th in the country in blocks last year, but he has no impact at all on the defensive side...

Like Oh my Gawd, I actually like DCZards tonight. Shame this will probably only happen once a year.

Re: Official Wizards Draft Thread: Version 2.0
our only chance to ever get better is to tank next season and get a lottery pick and get a potential franchise player
