Man I envy Portland. Omer Asik is a helluva pick. They are just loading up on talent.

I'm guessing PG.

I'll say Lester Hudson.

Maybe they draft Singletary.

I'm sure you disagree but we already have a franchise player...and his name is Gilbert Jay Arenas.

Chad Ford:

I'm not a huge fan of this pick, especially with a proven guy like Darrell Arthur on the board. McGee is a physical specimen, very long and athletic, and he has some skills. But he's very soft and looks like he's years away. He reminds me of Andray Blatche.

Maybe this means he'll be OK.

I think Hudson went back to school.

There goes CDR.

Seeing Singletary picked by us would make sitting through all of this worth it in my opinion. I don't even like UVA. Just love his game. A tall guy that can run the point and score when needed.

I hate this part of the draft. You know, the second round, six or seven picks before our pick, still two or three guys left that looks like they'd be steals (Walker, Hendrix). Of course, they all get drafted within those half dozen picks. Or worse, some of them are still left, but then the team goes out and takes someone totally out of the blue. I'm just waiting for it.

EG picking up Richard Hendrix or Bill Walker would make this draft respectable IMO.

I like Singletary but he's not tall....that's his main weakness.

Strange, but I like almost every pick of the second round so far. I want Bill walker if he's there at 47, then the homer in me wants James Gist. I'd be cool with Hudson, Jawai, Hendrix, Davon Jefferson, Hardin too.

I'm officially joining the Portland bandwagon as well.

Yeah, he did. My bad.

I'll be happy with George Hill, Chris Lofton, Pat Calathes, Jamar Butler, James Gist, Brian Roberts, Maarty Leunen, or any other player that was good over time playing against good competition.

Hill seems like a sleeper.
EDITED-- In my despair after the McGee selection, I missed Hill going 26.
