That game, I remember, the upper level was about 85% full, while the lower level was half full. It would look better if they moved a portion of the upper level crowd down to make the stadium look full. That's just me though. It's awkward, because all the noise is being made in the upper level.

We get no love when it comes to giveaways during the game. They were throwing chicken and burritos in the crowd like we were savages, but the upper level section got no love.

Yup, my free tix were nosebleed behind the basket. But no worries, enjoyed it (and caught up with an old friend for dinner first).

I know many of you have been thinking, Will, how come you've recently managed to post intermitently for 14 hours a day every day, whereas in the past you never did anything like that? Well, you have your answer: a lot of procrastination.

Now I will continue getting paid to "study" (don't worry, it's another country's government picking up the tab, not ours) until the end of March. Hopefully the U.S. government will not insitute a hiring freeze and I'll have a job then or soon after. Otherwise I'm looking at ways to go back to school...culinary school that is. I've had enough papers.

Well, it looks like I'm not going to be a chef anytime soon. Within a week of this post, I got a job offer, so instead, I'll be a diplomat. With a chef-ing hobby.

Huh, has anyone ever taken the points per game being averaged by players and counted up the number of points missed in a season due to injury? I wonder, I just ... wonder if the wizards would lead in that category for the last three or four years?

I watched a big chunk of the legendary 87 all-star game, as well as one from the mid-70's in NBATV this weekend. Super cool to see how many greats were on the court together, how competitive it was, etc.

But my overriding thought? Today's NBA players shave 90% of their armpit hair. Doctor J would have the hairiest armpits in todays NBA if he groomed the same way. Not to mention monsters like McHale.

When did it become manly to shave your armpits?

I really hope she just took a hiatus from House to film/promote Tron and will soon be back. She is ridiculously pretty. A couple cheeseburgers and she'd be darn near perfect.
