Beal killed the idea of no trade clauses forever, ha. Mitchell had all the leverage in the world and still couldn't pull one. Beal had none and Terd and Tommy just gave him one.

Yep. Ted and Tommy are Tweedledum and Tweedledee.

To think that only Lebron has now managed to get a no trade clause...

I wonder if he used the, ”Even ****ing Bradley Beal got one,” argument?

They also got Melton, who is who I wished we had pursued instead of trading for Monte Morris. Melton to GS might be my favorite move of the offseason so far.

It's a new frontier money wise. Is the 5th year of control worth risking him signing 3+PO next offseason? I think you just do it if you're Orlando and he's willing to sign.

He was likeable when he was knocking down the 3s with little expectations. The move should have been to trade him for picks in retrospect but he did somehow net the Wizards KP.

Yeah he made it 8 years in the league and will probably get on a contender on a min deal for shooting

Bert was soft on and off the court. Sat out bubble ball after the restart during the COVID year in order to secure the bag. Secured the bag, then proceeded to get softer, physically and mentally, to the point that he became unplayable. Just impossible to like the guy.

Does Derozan to the Kings make a Kuz trade to Sacramento more or less likely? If they can swing that trade and keep Huerter, that's a pretty good team. Fox, Monk, Huerter, Murray, Derozan, Sabonis, and Kuz is not bad. Plus they just drafted Devin Carter.

Even if not, the Lakers now have to do something, right? Doubt they have enough for Ingram.

I read that the kings might look to add both and honestly
Fox derozen Murray Kuz and sab is a nice starting 5

which of course netted us 3 FRP/Swaps that were crucial to our title run in 2033. Wait, what?

Spurs going all in on Markkanen almost makes too much sense now IMO, especially considering next year's FA class is so guard/wing heavy (which they already have).

Wemby/Collins
Markkannen/Sochan
Barnes/Johnson
Vassell/Castle
Paul/Jones
