Yeah, if we’re getting stuck with Robinson’s contract in the deal, we need a lot more compensation. At a minimum, that would include Jovic and their minimally protected 2029 pick.

I’m not so sure. They have to pay 33 year old Beal 57 million, and with the NTC carrying over….

We will be fortunate to get Herro+Robinson+#18

If the team is allowing him to talk to Milwaukee, that’s pretty revealing, they have literally nothing to offer.

I don’t really get why people keep parroting this idea. Sure, if it’s a two team trade, Milwaukee doesn’t have much to offer that the Wizards would want.

The Bucks hopes of acquiring Beal obviously relies on a third team, but I think it’s fairly likely that a third team would give up more for Jrue Holiday than a team like Miami will offer for Beal. It’s just more complicated because of the fact that a third team has to be involved.

Why would we do any of those trades? Porzingis is way better than those guys. And if the point is to save money, Porzingis has an expiring contract anyway. This is stupid.

Agreed. Would have to be draft compensation in there to even start convos. Only player that brings me any interest in Allen, and this playoffs wasn't what I would call a crowning.

Yup, at a minimum, we could probably get Expirings plus 21 and 22 from Brooklyn

We would we do that deal? Gives us no expirings

They’re not expiring, but Herro/Robinson salary is significantly less than Beal and provides more cap flexibility. They’re easier to flip. They also don’t have no trade clauses. Herro is 23. But the main driver for the Wizards is the 18th pick.

If Ayton is the main piece in the Suns offer, I'd try him move him to Dallas for #10 and filler if possible. Or maybe Orlando at #6 would want him.

I'm thinking that any deal is going to be a three-team deal, especially if CP3 is in the mix. The Suns don't have a first-round pick until 2024 and that would be a low pick assuming Booker, Beal and Durant stay relatively healthy.

Man, this is happening fast, huh? :)

Much as I'd like to see us trade Brad, I wish I was hearing more rumors about Kuzma. Does anyone know whether he's already formally declined his option?

He hasn't as of yet.

President Donald Trump referred to African countries, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole" nations during a meeting Thursday and asked why the U.S. can't have more immigrants from Norway.

I don’t believe Phoenix has any tradeable first round picks. Could do pick swaps but I don’t think those carry much value.

Right, they don't have first-round picks for awhile after that. I'm not trading Beal for some expirings and a 2026 first-round pick unless I have no offers.

The Wizards can just decide to not trade him to the Suns if they aren't getting what they want. I think he goes to the Heat ultimately

Once the Beal trade is done, and we get 2 milkshakes and a lollipop in trade for him, lets make sure that this new front office does not get the blame. They are finishing the poker hand that Tommy Shepard gave himself, before Tommy left the table.

Agreed they held on to him too long. His contract is not going to age well under the new CBA.

New guys didnt Beal the no trade clause, and the capability to dictate what player(s) he is traded for. Beal can literally say that he wants to play with players X, Y, and Z, and so the Wizards cant have them in a trade. Think about that! Crazy!
