Yup. AND we don't have a 1st round draft pick too

SO WIZARDS, we called it early, WE NEEDED that 1st round pick. If Ted had half a brain he would fire Ernie when this is over.

The Bogdanovic trade was one of the worst trades EG has done. The only other one I can think of was the 5th pick for Foye/Miller but that was defensible without the benefit of hindsight. The Bogdanovic trade made no sense.

All we need is a Wall or Beal jumper and it's tied 1-1. They aren't better by much. They just have a player on a mission who is driving the lane at will, not every getting hit by a soft defense.

Tony Massenburg speaking the truth.

Make it friggin physical. If the Cs are going to get all the touch calls, don't commit touch fouls. Commit hard fouls!!!

I guarantee Beal will have a terrific game-3. Wall will probably struggle. He'll put up a seemingly decent stat line but on poor efficiency and nowhere near the control of the ballgame he's shown for most of the season (Law of averages).

It will be another close game and we'll probably pull it out since we're at home.

But we're not taking both at home. And clearly, we can't win in Boston.

in game 3 if I'm scott brooks I'm using some lineups that feature Otto Porter at the center position and seeing if he can guard IT on switches. Boston is playing super small ball lineups all game and we can't prevent dribble penetration or guard in isolation.

Satoransky should also be playing. play all the perimeter defenders that you have. **** it play McClellan, he can defend also. you have to go smaller to guard these guys.

It was our last chance to get ECF and we are blowing it.
I will finish this season and as long as EG is our GM won't put any efford to watch this crap. Sleepless nights and those MF Turd and EG are telling me that this is part of the plan!!!!

Yeah the real problem is our lack of depth. Our key midseason acquisition played 8 minutes today. Also, Mahinmi needs to get his ass off the bench and make a difference. I still think we can win Game 3 and 4.

lost two games in which they blew huge leads. Psychologically the series feels over. They are consistently beating us the same way doing the same things. we have no answer

How did that trade make no sense? It was done to get rid of Nicholson's contract and help a terrible bench that was near the bottom of the league in production. You also have a GM who has been pretty bad at drafting outside the top 10 (maybe Oubre was good) and it's not that bad on paper. When he doesn't score, it does look bad but EG would have f-cked that pick up anyway.

Gortat and Kieff suck. Going nowhere with them.

Mahinmi can get waived tomorrow for all I care. Everyone playing hurt and this guy can't even give it a go. We needed him so badly tonight.

When they missed I knew they were going to lose in OT because we were lucky to be tied with the ball at the end of regulation.

Game proved too big for Brooks and Wall in the final 2:20 of regulation.

We run the clock down while we have Boston on the heels in the penalties, and not even once did we try to trap Thomas hard coming of those screens to force the ball out of his hands.

How naive can you be to just let Thomas get the shots he wants when he's proven time and time again that he can make those plays in pressure situations?

On offense Wall has to either to get the offense into some plays, or attack the basket and either get contact in the lane or find a teammate when Boston rotates.

I don't see how Washington is going to recover from this loss to be honest, the stage was set for a split series and Washington has nobody to blame for themselves for that late game collapse.

Put it this way. If Wall played at an unsustainably phenomenal level and dropped 40 and 13 and we still lost, things are bleak. What will happen when he comes back to Earth and gets 23 and 10? What if he has a bad game and gets 16?

When your stars over-perform, and you still lose, it's called a wasted game.

Not to mention the very real psychological toll of blowing big leads 2 straight games. They will feel like they can't win a game no matter what. If they're up 20, if they're up 15, that anxiety is in the back of their minds.

We need to start knocking Thomas on his ass. Can't let a player drop 50 on you and not be touched.

if you're going to play Iso ball all game long, you have to space the court better. more shooters around wall and beal.

When you lose you have to learn lessons.

At 110-104 Wizards, Gortat missed the second of two FTs.

Boston as if on cue hit successive threes by Thomas and by Thomas assisting to wide open Rozier.

110 all.

Wall got fouled and again a Wizard only made one of two.

111-110 Wiz

Boston comes and takes the lead on a make by Thomas.

112-111 Celts

Then, OTTO sticks a three.

114-112

Next, refs bail out flailing Isaiah and call two shot foul on Gortat, who never touched Thomas. Of course Thomas makes both.

114 all.

John goes hero mode--okay but how'd a swing the ball to Porter have worked out if tried?. John comes up short.

Brad rebounds and gets tight and misses a wide **** open eight foot shot.

We go to overtime.

Aaaarggghhhh! I pick up my check and leave the sports bar knowing Thomas and the refs won't let Boston lose.

Game over, lost in the last minute and change of regulation.

I SAW what happened...

They wanted it and had better STAMINA and COMPOSURE.

BRAD BEAL SUCKED IMMENSELY.

Why in the F is Thomas being guarded by Gortat?

Satoransky stupid assed Scottie.

Also, McCullough is a darn good show defender on PnR.

Now the good news:. Maybe they win two in DC....
