BS. The new guys are making the deal. They get to own it...

No sir. How can they "own it" when Beal gets to decide what pieces are coming back? That kills any leverage the new GM has.

, lets make sure that this new front office does not get the blame.

Why not ,its them sitting down with other teams negotiating the trades .....when the trades are done and the draft is over it will be their stamp on all the new acquisitions.

Its not much of a negotiation if Beal is the one saying yes/no to being traded, and he also dictates the package that he's being traded for. The only choice the front office has is if to trade Beal now or later. However, if Washing trades him in June, then the 15% trade kicker doesnt come into play. In July, the 15% trade kicker comes into play, and Beal will be that much harder to trade. If they trade him later in the season, then Beal will just sour, give less than 100% on the court till he gets traded, and we will not get to start our rebuild till he is traded.
So, no, this new front office doesnt really have a say in the negotiations of ANY trade - Beal does, as he can dictate where he goes and for what package.

Beal for Lowry, Oladipo, and #18 would be #soWizards, and Tommy's final middle finger to the franchise -- making it the most likely outcome.

That's not a bad trade. We should get maybe a future first and some seconds in the deal but jovic has potential and is 19-20. 18 could get us Wallace after we take Bilal at 8 which would be a wild good draft. Lowery can be traded for assets.

I wonder if it’s something like Porzingis+8 for 3+23+filler

I’m all for it if the pick is Amen.

I'd do Beal for Lowry, Oladipo, #18, and Jovic. I have Jovic valued as a late FRP. Lowry is expiring and can probably be flipped at the deadline for something.

So essentially, it's Beal for two firsts and maybe a 2nd.

I have no idea why the Wizards are interested in Highsmith, though. He's 26, in the last year of his contract, and would just eat into Deni/Jovic's minutes.

So according to Josh Robbins and DA, the trade to Miami involved Lowry, Robinson and multiple first-round picks. The Suns' trade involved Ayton and additional cap filler or Paul and Shamet (yuck).

Yeah I’m not making that Phoenix deal. Brad can sit on the bench and waste the rest of his prime if he wants to try and force his way to Phoenix in a deal that returns nothing.

Why are we accusing Brad of anything here?
Why assume he's shaping anything negative in the Wizards direction?

There's no evidence of that at all, & it seems unfair to me.
If he doesn't get traded this off season he'll go at the deadline.

Well there’s a report that says he wouldn’t allow Ayton to come back in the return, deal would be Shamet+Paul.

In which case, no chance I make that deal. It’s all speculation though. I’m almost certain he ends up in Miami.

Furthermore, he’s within his right to look out for his own best interests. It’s not his fault our incompetent organization gave him a No Trade Clause when literally no one else was.

Make stupid decisions, deal with craptastic consequences.
