Daniels is gonna be great and this is definitely knee jerk but I feel justified in saying I would have traded the farm to move up one spot for Caleb. That preseason footage was goofy. Superstar no doubt.

I see a guy who stepped in and casually pulled off two Pat Mahomes plays in his first preseason game pretty effortlessly.

He's just different.

Personally this might have more to do with how much they like the rookie pass catchers they brought in more than anything. I think they really like MRJ, mcaffeey and sinoot. I think moving someone now for that value vs him loosing the job to these guys and being worth nothing is smart and it basically pays for the kicker we just got.
