The McRoberts foul was suspension-worthy.

Maybe it's my hate-colored glasses (a real possibility) but I really didn't think the McBob foul was a big deal. In real time, he looked like he was trying to make a play on the ball but was too slow to get there.

In slow motion you see him recoil as he realizes that Lebron is about to truck right over him. He braces for impact, contact occurs, Lebron gets an elbow to the throat. But it didn't look intentional to me at all. McBob didn't even have much forward momentum left so really, the force of the impact came mostly from James.

It was surely a foul, and matched the technical requirements for a Flagrant 1. But I would never call it suspension worthy... especially keeping in mind that Lebron was extending his own forearm during the play (as he does all the frickin' time with no call).

I have to agree with this. It was bad but I don't think the intent was there.

With Neckbreaker McRoberts in his path, the refs automatically awarded two additional steps for retreat.

PS: One of those steps even had a little electric slide to it.

What is that? 5 steps, plus a slide.

Forgot that we had this thread.

LeBron has opted out of his contract and is now an unrestricted free agent.

If LeBron and Melo go to the Western Conference, we could actually win the East next season.

Chew on that for a second.

I think we've seen the end of the Heat as currently constructed. I believe that neither Bosh nor Wade fell as though they should have to take a pay cut but LeBron knows that the same team, a year older, is probably not going to cut it nor will it be much fun. They all have said that this year was a grind for them. The got 2 championships out of the deal and got a chance to play as friends, now it's time to get back to the business of basketball. Lebron wants to be the greatest, D. Wade wants to retire as the Miami version of Kobe and Bosh wants to get away from being a role player and back to being the potentially superstar caliber player that he was four years ago.

I see Wade and Bosh staying but LeBron chucking up the deuces.

If Lebron's serious about winning rings and Bosh wants to get his paycheck, they should do a Bosh for Love swap and call it a day.

Yea...What the MOD said. Le-Travel is not like Jordan, he can be defeated in the finals.

Le-Decision is never going to be the greatest player. He's not even the best player in his ERA. The real question is not the best player but the best TEAM. The Jordan teams NEVER lost in the finals.

I don't see Bosh wanting to go to Minnesota. I wonder if Horford from ATL to MIN in a 3-way would make sense - although maybe ATL just cuts out MIA to get Love. I do think an offer of a player like Bosh, Horford, Ibaka, etc. will beat out the current offers of a young prospects, some picks and filler.
