The Celtics are just the better team. Flat out the better team.

All we need is a Wall or Beal jumper and it's tied 1-1. They aren't better by much. They just have a player on a mission who is driving the lane at will, not every getting hit by a soft defense.

When they missed I knew they were going to lose in OT because we were lucky to be tied with the ball at the end of regulation.

Well it's over now. You lost 2 games where you had a mathematically higher than 80% chance of winning at various points of the game (Game 1 up 16-0; Game 2 6 point lead with few minutes left in the 4th). Wall over-achieved and will not have an offensive game like tonight again.

The thing is...they just played good D on Beal. He played poorly because the Celtics strategy and effort on stoping him were top notch.

you guys have to stop assessing players by their point total. we gave up 120 points twice in a row. Jason Smith could not guard anyone on the court, every time he was in the game, Boston would give the ball to whoever he was guarding and just ISO against him and get easy free throws or a layup.

Brad Stevens is coaching a lap around us. He's been fantastic.

Thomas made the shots so kudos, but this wasn't about what Thomas was doing, it was about what the Wizards weren't doing, finishing a game strong.

They tried to protect the lead instead of staying aggressive on offense, and on the other end they played it safe and let Celtics get whatever shot they wanted.

Piss poor execution down the stretch, this one is on Brooks and Wall.

Sucked to lose, but you guys are way too negative. Despite Beal playing so bad and Morrison having no mobility we would have won it but for some home cooking by the refs. Wall gave everything he had, was playing on fumes. Anyone who wants to putilize him down now is delusional

Yeah the real problem is our lack of depth. Our key midseason acquisition played 8 minutes today. Also, Mahinmi needs to get his ass off the bench and make a difference. I still think we can win Game 3 and 4.

It was one of the most excruciating Wizards losses that I can recall, but they clearly had nothing left in the tank in the end and it's not hard to understand why. Its nice for Boston that IT can play 44 minutes and still be superhuman in the 4th quarter but just because Wall isn't able to also do so doesn't mean he's a putz.

Beal had a terrible game and it's not an excuse for that, but the top heavy roster and lack of reliable guys is obviously burning us at this point more than "Wall SUCKS!!!" or whatever.

As a Celtics fan that was great game by both teams. Somebody had to win though and I feel like IT is playing with something extra these last couple weeks.

To me, the refs not being able to see that IT held Walls arm, is when the game swung. It was still a one possession game till then.

The C's know how to foul and make it not look like a foul. They are smarter than the Wizards in that regard.

We have no bench. Period. Nada. Nothing. Zero. You cant win without a bench.

I love Otto and his all-around game but if Beal is going to put up performances like this in the playoffs we need a stronger 3rd player with him and Wall. Beal is supposed to be the shooter/scorer we depend on.

I also doubt that happens even if we lose this series. Because Wizards.
