Re: The Official Kyle Kuzma Thread
Kuzma was going to get $30 million a year; and then he didn’t. Kuzma was going to bring the Wizards 2 first round picks at the trade deadline; and then he didn’t. Kuzma was going to get the Wizards the 13th pick in the draft; then he didn’t.
Until there is actually evidence to the contrary, I think kuzma should be viewed as a bum who is not valued by other teams.

The Mavs wanted him. For some strange phucking reason, Winger asked Kuzma if he approved the trade to the Mavs. Winger said they "loved" Kuzma.
When I read that, I had to pause. I should have known that Kuzma wasn't going anywhere when I read that. They value him more than picks. More than Deni, apparently.
I used to crap on Shepperd for being terrible, but this is not any better so far.
Some random troll wrote:Not to sound negative, but this team is owned by an arrogant cheapskate, managed by a moron and coached by an idiot. Recipe for disaster.

This franchise fetish with Kuzma is maddening

Or maybe kuzma’s pr people floated that rumor to stroke his pathetic little ego, and the Wizards front office has no incentive to deny the rumor.

So, it looks like probably at least half a season more of the Kyle Kuzma experience. He seems like a nice guy and he does put up some stats but I certainly hope they get something decent for him. So far the jury is out on that...

Get. Rid. Of. Him.
There’s no purpose he serves now.
Do it for two second-rounders, which this FO probably regards as good value.
The purpose is to be epically awful? Well, do it — ship him out. And Poole. And Brogdon.
Play all rookies and second-year guys and G leagues. Who cares?
Speaking of, I truly, truly wish I didn’t.

Re: The Official Kyle Kuzma Thread
Those airballs certainly do not encourage the rookies to consider Kuzma a good locker room presence or a leader.
Tre Johnson is the future of the Wizards.

Re: The Official Kyle Kuzma Thread
I've found the reason for the slump. Kuz without the tunnel fits is like Samson without the locs.
Always remember, my friend: the world will change again. And you may have to come back through everywhere you've been.

Re: The Official Kyle Kuzma Thread
Eventually we'll look back and say tonight's game is when Kuzma became expendable. We have to play him so we can maximize his value in a future trade but he is now expendable. And his presence will only take shots away from our young players.

Re: The Official Kyle Kuzma Thread
I've written this one some other thread: trade Kuzma for anything. A second round pick, a hopelessly injured player who just gets stowed on the bench while his contract runs out, a bag of deflated basketballs. Anything.
