^Things that caught my eye - lots of D-lineman, only 3 RBs, Forbes made the cut after many said he wasn't looking good. I also heard earlier today they wanted to trade Cole Turner but no bites. Come on Week 1! :football:

More info about the guys who were cut: https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/41002911/nfl-cuts-tracker-2024-live-roster-updates-all-32-teams

Surprised Rodriguez is on the practice squad, I can't think of any RB hungry teams right now but one injury and he's probably gone, heck the Giants might claim him a week before the game for insight if nothing else.

He's solid but definitely wouldn't worry about him if he were poached.

Yeah especially the way you can get RB in the draft these last few years and like undrafted rba are breaking out all over the place. I have to say it but RB is becoming more of a physical attribute position and less of a skill position yes youlla always need a RB that can catch and run routes but you also just need one that all house power and have big hands to hold onto the ball.

Byron Pringle WR/KR cut today

Are they moving someone up from the PS ? Or signing someone to the 53 man roster?

I guess OZ is returning kicks now.

Not a fan of the way Jayden is sliding head first but at least he is trying to get down.

I caught the replay, and it looked very reminicient of a Ron Riviera coached game. Not impressed.

I said all preseason don't fall for the hype...this team is going to be bad. They essentially brought back last seasons terrible secondary and they don't have any weapons on offense outside of an aging T-Mac and Ertz that teams are going to gameplan against.

Defense is horrific at least as a unit. There were times the coverage was the defensive front didn't bring down Mayfield. But mostly the coverage was horrific. A couple of low discipline plays cost them in penalties and helped extend drives.

Jayden looked OK but not great. Didn't connect with Terry much. Rest of the receiving corps looks worse than last year (last year's version of Dotson looked better than any receiver, Logan Thomas looked better than Ertz, Ekeler might be an upgrade over Gibson but they barely used him). But the defense so bad that the offense earns an incomplete. 20 points in nice theoretically but the last TD happened in garbage time, an RG3 special. There was an abysymal block in the back call that I don't think should have been called that killed one of the drives and York the kicker had an awful game so maybe the offense was OK?

I didn't think much of the play calling though. Seemed like Washington was content on developing Daniels. It kind of reminded me of a preseason game.

Yeah i thought the play calling was a bit conservative which is fine for a rookie playing his first game. I would say the offense looked competent. If Daniels didn't overthrow Tmac on that bomb his numbers would look very good, especially in comparison to the other rookies.
