I feared that the refs would be IT sympathy led.

Watching I have a new disdain for the Celtics. Cheating assed bastards.

So many key calls by the refs that made this game easier for the Celtics. Oubre's called off 3. IT's free throws to tie it and force overtime. Bradleys steal/hold of Wall's arm.

Honestly, I don't know how you guard IT....especially with the way the refs allow the Celtics to play.

I did nothing but focus on Horford and he literally moves on EVERY pick.

As a Celtics fan that was great game by both teams. Somebody had to win though and I feel like IT is playing with something extra these last couple weeks.

I love Otto and his all-around game but if Beal is going to put up performances like this in the playoffs we need a stronger 3rd player with him and Wall. Beal is supposed to be the shooter/scorer we depend on.

I also doubt that happens even if we lose this series. Because Wizards.

Beal had a rough game, but that wasn't really the difference in the game.

Washington is up 6 with 2:20 on the clock and it wasn't Beal's lack of execution down the stretch that buried us.

The Celtics took Beal out of the game and it's a shame that the refs let the Celtics defenders get away with so much clutching and holding, but the Wizards were in it.

Wall iso was very Wittman-esque.

We shot it too early. No ball movement.

But none of that was the issue. Brad phukin choked. Shot it scared.

Don't understand why we don't trap the smallest and best player on the court. Also don't understand why we don't move in and out of zone defense.

spot on. had the game won, celtics gameplay was clear as day, take beal out of it, stay at home on shooters and make wall beat you by himself.

up 6 with 2 minutes left and our execution was terrible. bad shots bad turnovers, none from beal.

what if you play small ball with only players that can defend IT, and just switch EVERYTHING?

and yeah, why not just trap him? Randy Wittman had a master gameplan against Toronto two years ago to trap Lowry and Lou Williams, it was brilliant. Brooks is such a downgrade

Definitely agree with all that.
If Beal has maybe only 3 turnovers instead of 6 and hits one or two threes instead of just 1... this game might have been smooth sailing. It's me being very "what if?" about this which you can do with just about anything, but I also think it's true. The turnovers being the thing that hurts the most.

The bench is probably the biggest problem. The difference is astounding. The luxury of being able to bring in a young player like Rozier off the bench and hit big shots for you is priceless in the playoffs. Oubre had a fine game despite his usual foul trouble, but we just don't have that. They've just got an all-around team top to bottom on their roster and we've got a couple really good players. BBIQ disparity was also on display. Which is pretty incredible considering the core of our group has more playoff experience than theirs. (going off the top of my head here) Stevens is coaching great.

John 3 for 10 from 3pt range. Should he really be taking that many 3's. Beal 1 for 9 from 3. He was dreadful.

The problem with having two young guys as best players is they don't yet know how to grind out over the long haul.

Conditioning and maturity and just maintaining high BBIQ over time aren't there yet.

Ass like bench is really to blame. We need a Garrett Temple and a Ramon Sessions or Andre Miller off the bench or on the bench to stay in the young guys' ears. No jump shots with tired legs. Get to the basket and TRY HARD to ignore the

CHEATING ASSED NBA REFS.

It is what it is. We blew it at the end of regulation.

I just hope​ for two comfortable home wins, where WE get the calls.
