From what evidence do you gather this?

I swore Kuzma had something to do with Avdija's trade, just didn't mention it.

I would see what appeared to be Kuzma and Avdija having a clashing of ideas on what went wrong, who was to blame, for a bad series during timeouts as they went to the bench, saw it multiple times. I thought there was low to mild tension between them because of it and with how foolishly high the org. rated Kuzma, I wondered if he talked to the FO and said something along the lines of 'He's too stubborn, I can't play with him'.

This is the same guy who declared that the offense should be ran through him while Beal---an actual All-Star---was still on the team. Also the guy who was able to veto his trade to Dallas.

There were the articles in the post where Kuzma would pump up Deni, be photographed with KP and Deni outside of practice.

Of players who get regular minutes, based upon ws/48, Kyle Kuzma has been the worst player on the worst team for 2 years now. The fact that some of you think he had/has/will have value is beyond me.

You can base it on a lot of metrics other than WS/48 & get the same results. Certainly the worst on the Wizards -- of those who get any regular minutes at least.

Kuz has never had a season in which he even flirted with average performance for a forward.

I’m still laughing at this with the brick emojis. I swear Kuzma thinks he’s Kobe.

I don't know whether he thinks he's Kobe, but he definitely thinks he's a really terrific player & by no means simply a role player. He's said as much.

He also thinks he posted all star level numbers last year, as he's also said, when in fact his numbers were absolutely horrible.

At the same time, it's not all that long ago that someone posted so-called "advanced" statistics to show Kuzma somewhere in the top 15% of NBA players. In fact, he used to get quite a lot of praise on this Board -- even though he was playing terrible basketball at the time.

At the same time, I remind you, Kuz is by no means a bad person -- he's been generous & committed to good social goals. Active in support of his community. He's a smart, interesting guy. There's no need to hate on him. Just trade him.

I don't know if the last bit is directed at me, or just a general statement, but I've never hated on the guy at a personal level--just his play. Unfortunately we aren't getting extra picks back for his generosity and character.

Last season it was Jordan Poole pretty easily although the tables have turned.

Listen I'm not gonna comment on whether its appropriate or not to use AI to make Kuzma look like a jihadist, but I will say that is funny as hell.

Kyle Kuzma and Jordan Poole are the last two players that I'd want trying to develop younger guys on the team; I don't think either is qualified because of their own questionable decision-making.

Not buying that Deni was developed by Kuzma, two totally different players on the court, from a values and effort standpoint.

I'll say this Kyle has completely detailed. It's like wild have far he slide he was a borderline respectable starter solid vet character guy then he just went straight down the **** on all accounts.

Jordan how ever is have a great season and by all accounts has turned into a pretty good locker room guy.

Actually, no. Poole was awful, to be sure, but Kuz was only a notch less awful. & if you factor in average production at their positions, Kuz was actually worse.

I would just add that based upon ws/48 the original stat that I referenced Kuzma did have a slightly better year. However, around game 53, Jordan Poole pretty much turned his season around, and some might argue that he had a pretty good final 30 games of the season, whereas Kuzma was just bad all season long.

This seems false.

- Kuzma shot slightly better from 3 (and better from his relative position than Poole).
-Kuzma effective field goal percentage was about 3% higher which give or take is the same at their relative position and Kuzma's is TS% 2 % higher which is better.
-Rebounding, Kuzma is much better for his relative position.
- It seems like Kuzma has a better assist to turnover ratio relative to his position than Poole.
- The big separation to me though is that Kuzma was a much better defender. Even if you were to argue that offensively they are the same, Kuzma was a far less of a negative here.

The big thing of course instead of looking at box scores is looking what other teams offered for Kuzma. The Dallas mavericks who ended up making the NBA playoffs offered a 1st rounder for Kuzma.
