Blatche was just lovely there in the first. Cartier's looking pretty good too....

Actually, the whole thing has just been clicking pretty well from a cohesion standpoint: cutters, passers and shooters working together to form a balance.
A bit of a concern considering that we have so many winnable games coming up, actually.

At the half, Blatche on track for a quadruple double...
11 pts, 8 asts, 5 rbds, 5 TOs

Blatche looks pretty tired out there. Of course, even half-dead 'Dray took the likes of Humphries to town fairly easily.

sometimes I think people need to leave Dray alone. He was upset because of the previous play where he missed that J and fell down. He thought he got pushed. If they wont call the fouls then he should speak up. Ive seen a ton of coaches get techs at times like that and stars like Kobe. The commentators should stop jumping on him just because he's Blatche. Sure they were on a run but you need to stand up for yourself also. Just because Dray does it doesnt make it bone head or something that no one else has ever done

Like... Why do you guys have James Singleton on Lopez?

+1
I LIKE fire in our alpha players. As long as he's supporting teammates and being a good locker room guy, the can wait for referees after the game with a tire iron in each hand for all I care. =p
Update: Holy heck that was a pass!!!

And another! I am officially giddy, and almost not worried about us winning this game... watching Blatche throw a perfect one-handed shuffle pass is totally worth the lottery balls. Game on, son.

This could be an incredibly important come from ahead loss. With GSW on their way to beating Toronto it seems pretty clear they will pass us by in the Win column and will be a close battle between Wiz & Pistons.

I feel so bad for Dray. 1st off he looks dead tired, more like running on fumes from playing so much this late in the year. Then you can tell that he doesnt want to be a hog but he feels like he can take all the Nets players every single time but he just keeps getting blocked or missing easy shots. However, he's still beasting with 12 dimes and may get a triple double

IDK if youve been watching us since the trades. Singleton is definitely undersized but he has some Ben Wallace in him. He can hang with the big boys and has had double doubles & 20 rebound games

I'm really impressed with how Livingston has looked better athletically. He really looks quicker, especially on defense.

Man I will be so upset if Dray misses this triple double due to rebounds. He hasnt been that great at it since the hot start. I always say that I wont rip him for it because I just think he's tired from carrying the big load, minutes, and facing the double teams. If he rebounds average next year then I will really rip him. Still, you would think that he would try to get these last 2 boards although its hard since NJ wont miss now

I love the sound of "come from ahead loss." What other turns are there? Wizards claw their way to defeat, hang on to lose, let defeat slip away, turn down the defense, get the L, a gritty defeat, etc.
"Yes, in our house," Blatche proclaimed defiantly, adding "I could have been playing for my own triple-double, but all I cared about was the loss."

I agree, I think he along with Blatche have been the most interesting aspects of this team ending the season.
Personally, I would love nothing more than to see a Livingston / Arenas backcourt starting next season, assuming Shaun can keep it up physically.
