And he's got range.

I really do like Booker. In this game, he's had a monster dunk, finished a drive where he took a shot midair, made a near-3, and just spiked a shot (not a block, since it was after a foul). And he has 3 steals.

He'll need to do all of those things, about 3x each per game, and he'll be ideal in that "Crash 3" position. I assure you other SFs won't want to see him coming into the game. And that includes LeBrat. Booker's probably the only guy as big as he is who's actually faster.

I hope we have our very own Artest-lite without the crazy. My only concern is his lateral quickness - if he can improve that aspect then he'll have a decent chance against most SFs.

I really like Booker. Not sure why folks think he can't play SF. He can hit outside and is quick. He may be like a very poor man's LeBron in terms of speed, bulk and moves from the SF position (but without the passing ability).

Oh man, the symmetry between Wall and McGee is even better than I had hoped. Perfect mesh right there..

On pace for the summer league chip.

I liked the Dray Blatche shout out from the play-by-play guy on how many S-League's he'd been to. They're missin' him man, they're missin' him. It's just not the same for everybody.

I came away more impressed with McGee than Wall.

John Wall is a special player.

I absolutely love the Booker pick now. We've needed a player like him for the longest time.

Good start...

Wall's going to be great. He's got all the tools - just needs to slow down a bit which will come with experience. I'm really looking forward to seeing the alley-oops from Wall to McGee, Seraphin and Booker.

Booker's nice. Like to see him rebound a little more but I like his intensity, something we've lacked for a few years now. If he can stay in front of the quicker SFs then he'll be fun to watch.

Isn't it cute the way they're interviewing Spolestra (sp?) as though he's going to be coaching the Heat this year?

Wall looked great for the most part. Speed and athleticism on full display. Turnovers need to be cut down obviously and the jumpshot could use more work, other than that..i'm impressed

Maybe Pat will let him sit at the adults' table this season and if they don't win it all, Eric has to go sit with the kiddies the next season.

John Wall is all that. As if we didn't already know.

You can see that he's nervous, not quite in rhythm, and probably not 100% physically- this was probably like his C+/B- game so to speak and he still just absolutely dominated.

You could see him and Javale trying to adjust to each other, and just realizing how athletic the other guy is, and once they do that, this is going to be a fun team to watch, baby.

Wall looked like he had an off game (for him), and still dominated. He's only going to get better.

McGee looked more under control, bigger, and probably feels like he has died and gone to heaven. Wall alone is going to get him 12+ points a game. Still saw the low bball IQ though.

Booker will be a 3, IMO. A beast. Would have liked to see more rebounds, though, but he was on the perimeter a lot. Looks to be a good all around defender, but a little invisible on offense at times.

Hamady is not bad for a late second. Not nearly as raw as expected. But didn't really do much.

Randle has got to go. Martin probably will get a spot on the team. Not a bad backup 3.
