Time: 8:00pm (EDT)
Where: Cox Pavilion - Las Vegas, NV
Television: Comcast SportsNet, NBA TV (out of the DC market)
Radio: None

The Wizards Summer League juggernaut continues on Thursday. Your Washington Wizards, led my the Great Wall, take on Rodrigue Beaubois, J. R. Giddons and the Dallas Mavs.

Because it's summer, as I write this post, I don't know of Javale McGee or Nick Young will be playing. But the key to Wizards wins seem to be Walls ability to push the rock with inspired speed and quickness.

Join your friends on the Wizards board and post your thoughts, opinions, and observations here.

Go Wiz

They wouldn't have had time to reinforce the backboards with such short notice, so I doubt it.

Me too. I'm also looking forward to watching Lin.

And I definitely hope McGee plays. As everyone knows, the things he needs to work on most are defensive positioning/concentration, conditioning, and defensive rebounding. All things that are better suited working on in legit games (or as close as you can get until preseason). If he sits at all, I'd make it solely the last game.

This is his fifth year in the NBA. He won't be playing.

I couldn't find The Official Ted Leonsis Appreciation Thread (if one even exists) but the article in today's Post (link found below) should be in it...Ted now knows what it takes to build a consistent, year-in, year out winner...As Wiz fans, we are going to benefit from him failing in his effort to buy a championship (Jagr, Lang, etc) with the Caps...He will build this team the right way...

That is great to see his dedication to the team rather than fame :)

I would, but I don't think you'd be able to hear me. Too much noise in the strip clubs. :D

Demarcus Cousins is playing some serious ball tonight. It would have been amazing to get Wall and Cousins, but that was never realistic.

Yeah, I distinctly remember a Washington Post article where it was mentioned that when Kwame got here, he couldn't even fix his own food....so he'd buy buckets of fried chicken..

It's in here ^. It's really sad to read the article, to see how unprepared Kwame was for life, but that's true for a lot of 18-19 year olds on their own, I guess. All things considered, at least he got a contract after his rookie one, and I imagine he'll be in the league again this season.
