I just couldn't take yet another analysis thread of how well EG was performing, so here we go, the Official Thread for the Wizards vs Orlando opener!
Starting Lineups:
Wizards
PG - Wall
SG - Arenas
SF - Thorton
PF - Blatche
C - McGee
Key backups: Hinrich, Young, Jianlian, Armstrong (I think Howard will still be out)
Orlando
PG - Nelson
SG - Carter
SF - Pietrus
PF - Nelson
C - Gortat (Howard is out with an ankle sprain)
Key backups: Duhan, Redick, Q. Richardson, Anderson
Given that Howard will probably be out with an ankle sprain (honestly, this is our only chance for a win, so go with me here), I think the Wizards' chances for a win are terrific!!!

I think it will be around 25 pages. However it would be very funny if it gets to 100 pages and locked before the game.

I'm really bankin on Howard being injured for the opener with a nagging injury. What's the over-under on that?

In looking at the projected starting line-ups, I was shocked how even it is.
Heck, assuming Josh Howard is healthy(which I don't expect) I actually think the Wiz have a clear advantage at most every position.
Or at the very least, its close to being a wash.
Other than center of course.

Then again, perhaps I'm just being a blind homer.

We might win this...
Especially if they play Nelson at both PG & PF position...

It will be really interesting to see how Jameer Nelson handles both PG and PF duties at the same time.
Wait what?

Rumor has it that Jameer has been in Houston all summer working with Hakeem on his post moves. He is gonna debut the Micro Dream Shake as well as a variety of drop steps. Blatche is in big trouble...

Has Rashard Lewis been working with Magic on his PG skills?

Hopefully McGee can put on some poundage before he goes up against Dwight. Drink those protein shakes!

Can we re-sign Etan to play only against Dwight Howard?
