Coming off of a win in Cleveland versus a short-handed Cavaliers squad, YOUR Washington Wizards head over to the windy city for a Friday night game versus the Chicago Bulls. The game serves as the second in a back-to-back for both teams. Chicago lost in Dallas 88-83 on Thursday night.

There are a couple of storylines that NBA fans will be sure to follow. Perhaps the most obvious being the first meeting between Bulls PG Derrick Rose and Wizards PG John Wall. Both #1 draft picks are young, dynamic, lighting quick. This may be a match-up that goes on for years and we'll all talk about the Rose/Wall era to our kids and grandkids the way our parents talked to us about NBA players of yore.

The game also marks the return to Chicago for long-time Bulls G Kirk Hinrich. I gather from reading the Bulls board that Chicago fans have mixed feelings about Kirk. Well as a Wizards fan, I've always liked him (even on the Bulls.) He's always been a hard worker, a solid citizen. I hope United Center fans give Hinrich a warm homecoming.

The game also marks the first opportunity for G Gilbert Arenas to strike back at Washington Post writer Mike Wilbon’s favorite team following yesterday’s shameful column. I don’t know if Gil saw it or not, but if he did, I hope he understands that dropping a bunch of points on Wilbon’s squad is a good way to make a point.

Lastly, this game marks our first opportunity of the year to “bless” this board with photos of the sexy, engaging Luv-a-Bulls. It has become Wizards board tradition to make our erstwhile members take in an eyeful of these lovely beauties while trying to post basketball-related opinion and thoughts to this site. Year after year, longtime Wizards board members literally BEG me to post photos of their favorite Luv-a-Bull. Accordingly, we take this opportunity to recognize Chicago beauty (you reading this Wilbon?)


Meet Evadney
Evadney is, without doubt, the Wizards board favorite Luv-a-Bull. In photo after photo, she has this look that just seems to scream out “hey CCJ, I’m packing something and I’m going to GIVE it to you later. And after I’m done with you, I’m gonna show Wilbon a little something too.”


Meet Andrea

Andrea is our second fave. She loves walking in the moonlight, holding hands, and “giving surprises.” The last we all heard, Miller had put her under contract to deliver a “surprise package” to JWiz. JWiz, don’t drop the soap.


Meet Amy

Amy loves to stalk board users who come up with the most improbable trade scenarios (D Howard for Laron Profit). Lately, she’s been telling everyone to call her Mrs. Lyrical Rico.

It will be very interesting to see if they let Gil play on a back to back but its Preseason so they may just sit guys anyways. I think they will want to see Wall vs Rose, McGee vs Noah, and Kirk against his former team moreso than anything else.

I actually hope Flip starts everyone again tomorrow because most of the times when teams have a game like we did today and still win, they will look way better the next day. I think we will look great if Flip plays everyone. I think both Wall & Gil will have great games along with Dray

From a Chinese point of view, I like the Wizard girls much much more than those of the Bulls.

Probably will miss streaming this one online due to the Caps game, but looking forward to watching the Rose vs. Wall highlights.
