YOUR Washington Wizards inaguarate the 2010-2011 home season with a preseason match-up with Southeast Conference rival Atlanta Hawks.

Having named G Kirk Hinrich and G John Wall as team captains earlier this week, expect Wizards coach Flip Saunders to continue to employ - at least part of the time - his three guard set, which also includes G Gilbert Arenas.

C Hilton Armstrong returns to playing availability after missing the last two games nursing a pillow injury. Really, this is true.

F Al Thornton is supposed to be unavailable for this game, nursing some minor aches, so perhaps we'll see more court time at the 3 for F Adam Morrison, G/F Nick Young, and F/C Yi Jianlan.

If you're going live to the game tonight:

(1) I'm jealous.

(2) Consider checking in with your reports and posting some photos.

(3) Check to see if Uncle Ted has actually followed through with more urinal cakes in the bathrooms.

The Hawks are on a b2b, with just about everyone playing around 25 minutes...except Jordan Crawford who played nearly the entire game last night, WEIRD. Get out and run on them.

If you're going to the game, don't forget to give Gilbert some love during pre-game introductions.

Jim - i ended up selling 1/2 my tickets to a friend over the weekend and he's got the tickets for tonight's game. I'm gonna miss Thursday's pre season game, as well. I'll definitely be at the home opener (wearing my Gil jersey).
