was there any question as to who would be starting this thread?

I brought John Wall here with my Draft Lottery thread and if he stays healthy, he has hall of Fame potential. Lets hope Gilbert debuts on Tuesday. With Gil, we would be 1-1 and I wouldnt be doing this thread.

PHILADELPHIA(0-3) vs WASHINGTON (0-2) hint..somebody will win their first game tomorrow!
Time: 7:00pm. Terrible time btw..no one can possibly get to their seat at 7:00pm.
TV/Radio: Comcast HD and WJFK

Leaders

Was Scoring: Wall 21.0 pts, Rebounds: Thornton 7.0 (Seriously?), Assists: Wall 9.0 , Blocks: McGee 4.0
Phl: Scoring: Igoudala 16.3/Brand 16.3 Rebounds: Brand 9.0, Assists: Iguodala 6.0, Blocks: Brand 2.0

Rookie Watch

Wall is destroying Evan Turner

This is a very winnable game, though our games with Philly are always usually close. I hope Gil returns for this one, that would be a start.

We played well v. Atl, so if Gil plays, then we are favorites in my opinion. I'm excited to see how Wall does in front of the home crowd.

The 76ers fell to 0-3 under new coach Doug Collins with their loss to the Pacers on Saturday night.

Collins said after the game that his biggest responsibility is changing the team's culture.

"We have to break a lot of losing habits," Collins said.

"I told the guys after the game that there is not one guy in this room who has a winning record in the NBA as a pro. Are we going to change? That's my job, to get it done."

The Sixers will be ready and motivated.

They said last night that he'll be taking a pain killer shot before the game. So I'm guessing he is but it's CSN so take it for what it's worth.

The last thing Gil should be doing is taking shots to play on a bad ankle this-early in the season.

Maybe we should all consider doing that.

Last time Gilbert was taking pain killer shots to mask injury pains was when he returned too early from his knee injury, we all know how that turned out. Yet and still, the only one who will be held accountable for the injuries is Gilbert himself.

Pretty much. But more important to Ted on his 101 list is more urinal cakes in bathrooms rather than the health of his players.

happy hour Wiz Board meet-up?

seems like a good idea except for it being a weeknight game.
I probably won't get there early enough to do more than
carry my red cup from my car to outside the arena. But there
is always a chance. My fav spot is DA-RFDs due to the amazing
selection of beers/ales to be had there.
