The Rockets are down on the road to the Spurs as of now, standing at 0-4. They're probably the worst under performing team so far and will be hyper motivated to pound us. Could be pretty ugly, to be honest.

Brooks and Martin are out most likely. They both just had severe ankle sprains.

The other team missing key players. That pretty much guarantees the loss for us.

The other team fielding non-paraplegic players pretty much guarantees the loss for us, nowadays.

The Rockets are still win less and they will be hungry for a win. They will win at least by 10, Scola shall murder the Wiz.

First the Rockets have the Wolves at home as an Hors d'œuvre. I'd imagine they win that, though if Brooks and Martin are both out, they're quite vulnerable. They have huge front court depth, but not so much in the backourt as they just ran Ish Smith for 35 minutes yesterday (I guess Lowry's hurt too).

To have a point that raw against Wall would bode well.

Definitely a loss. Houston's frontcourt is too deep/savvy for our youngsters. And I fully expect benchwarmers like Budinger and Taylor to explode. But I think the Wiz will being enough firepower to keep the loss in single digits.

Against their backup wingmen, I expect a big game from both Wall and Gil.

Should be a laugh watching Javale trying to guard Yao. Lets hope Adelman sticks to his 24 minute plan so he doesn't beast on our frontcourt too much..

I hope Javale atleast learned something from his last meeting with Yao:

That's what happens when you don't front him. Please front him all game long. It'd make sense given Javales length and athleticism, he has the ability to intercept if they try to lob passes over him.

.

In honor of JRo:

Wizards: 500,000
Rockets: 10

I hope the Wiz push the ball on every possession. Stop playing so slowly.

(Rant): I see that, because Yao's coming to town, the lazy Wiz marketing staff has dusted off its annual "Asian Heritage Night". Ladies and dudes of the Wiz marketing department, we got our own Chinese player now and don't have to circle the date for Yao's arrival to market Asian Heritage Night. (In fact, it really strikes me as Susan O'Malley-ish....marketing based on another team's player).

You want to have an Annual Asian Heritage Night? Great. (I'm of Asian descent.) How about you put the game on or about the annual lunar (Chinese) New Year. This year, it falls on February 3, 2011. We have a game on Feb 4th. THAT would have been the time to do it.
