Wizards with a win over Houston with basketball icon Magic Johnson in the house, and literally hundreds of MILLIONS of Chinese viewers watching. Thinking about that number is mind-boggling.
That being said, here are your nominees for player of the game.

Here's the astounding thing: The numbers Wall put up tonight (points, assists, rebounds, steals) have only been met or exceeded four times in the history of the NBA. If you add in his block, it's only been met/exceeded exactly ONE time.

I voted for myself as other since I made the game thread and attended the game. Second goes to Mr. Trip Dub and third goes to Thorton because his all around game made a difference even if you didn't see it on tv.

They really ought to cut down Wall's minutes to the 36 minute range. It seems like every game he's playing 42+ minutes.

Wall again got the ESPN Daily Dime "Today's Best" ranking and that's with 10 games played too.
So, Wall, yeah.
I'd go with Blatche next. I've still gotta watch the fourth quarter, but he was putting a lot of pressure on
the Rox interior D, even if without great efficiency, while also hitting the boards and working respectable rotations on the other end.
I'm tempted to pick "Asian Heritage Night" next. Thronton was tough again, but we'll give a bounce back vote to Yi.
In general terms, nice to see the defense and boardsmanship come together.
I did get one feed in the fourth working for a hot second and it was just in time to see Hiney's double turnover sequence. So, not him. Hopefully he'll be a different player if we cut him back to 24 minutes a game or so. Hopefully. Some of his bad plays just deflated the arena with how off they were, like that little open floater he missed from 8 feet.

Wall has the most assists by any player in his first 6 games with 61. Oscar Robertson had 60.

Hell yes! This guy is our future; if he goes down with a serious injury because he's playing tired or wears out too soon, it'll be a long time before we get another centerpiece player according to the odds. HE shouldn't be playing more than 36 mpg (and it's not as if we don't have 2 other PGs playing SG).
