I'd like to have a blowout so John can get some late game rest. Come on Flip. We don't want to injure the kid.

Seriously, is Wall going to play 42 minutes every game?

Edit: The Cats have lost close games to: SA, Indiana & Orlando, they are better than their record.

After last night's victory, can't wait to see this game. Wanna see improvement from the team overall, win or lose. Go Wizards!!!

I checked on the NBA site, and he's playing just as many minutes as Deron Williams & Rondo. Derrick Rose plays in the 37-38 area.

We can win, but it is going to be tough. Blatche, McGee, and Yi better bring it like they have in the last two games, or we will be killed. I'm expecting consistency the same from Wall, Hinrich, and Thorton.

Gil's a ? but that is to be expected.

Go Wiz!

I dont mind Wall's minutes right now. You have to remember that Gil is just coming back & Howard isnt back yet. When those guys get back to playing there full minutes then Wall's time will come down. Right now we need him to help carry us a big part.

As for Gil, I like to look at the sked. He should probably come off the bench for 1 more game and then I would start him in the next or the one after. You might not want him to start against Jackson but against Bogans & the other smaller or non scoring SG's coming up, I would start him.

Don't let any of our players, especially Wall, stand 5 feet within Gerald Wallace.

Inside of Gerald Wallace it's too dark to read.

This might be an interesting test of both Blatche and of Thornton. If Blatche can create good shots going up against Tyrus Thomas that would encourage me about the progress he's made towards getting back into shape. If Thornton can fight Wallace to a draw I would be genuinely impressed.

I made a bit of an eerie prediction in the last game thread:

We have a better record and therefore the better team. I predict a Wiz blowout, 137-58.

Wall will break Yao's ankles and one of Aaron Brooks' ankles, even though Brooks won't dress. He will also break Scola's hair.

Yi will are suck.

Not actually wishing bodily injury upon anyone, I will change my tune this thread.

Wiz bring the D and shut down the cats 115-39. Wall breaks MJ's ego with breakaway left-handed dunks.

Wall spins around Wallace so fast that Wallace turns his own leg 180 degrees, tearing his mcl and falling to the floor. Wall passes Wallace as he's carried from the court on a stretcher, turns to the Wizards bench, and yells, "That was for you, Gil."

Yeah, I don't really wish that, but it would make for dramatic theater.

hey guys--it JI:(..now jay81. Everytime i post in another board, i get suspended for things that I would hardly consider trolling. People need some thick skin on this board.

Anyway....if you compare Wall's first 6 games to Lebrons first 6 games as a rookie, I think Wall is off to a much better start.

Besides Lebron,Durant and maybe Howard, I am not sure if I would Trade Wall for any player in the league right now. He is a franchise player and potential hall of famer if he stays healthy

I remember when I got into it with some Knick mod on the Trade broad who said he'd rather be kicked in the nuts by a rabid mule than see Arenas in a Knick jersey. I merely pointed out what an asinine comment that was, since one cannot get rabies by being kicked in the nuts by said rabid mule. So I asked him to correct his overly dramatic statement that he would rather have a mule take a munch on his ying yang, than see Arenas in a Knick jersey.

Apparently oral mule is frowned upon around these parts. :dontknow:

Is that a new colloquialism along the lines of "taking my talents to south beach"?

23 for Wall and 7 for Arenas? Sounds about right....

Sorry - couldn't help it. I really do hope Gil gets back on track, and think he still can. Just want him to stay faaaaar away from Gerald Wallace tonight.

I think Wall feasts on DJ Augustine, expect another 5+ steal night from him.
