Key Matchup

Javale McGee

Dwight Howard
Dwight Howard is the best Center in the league. However, McGee has been playing at an All-Star level lately. Averaging 14 points, 13 rebounds, and 2.5 blocks over the last 5 games, McGee will need another standout performance against The Beast from the Regular East
X-Factor
[img]
Let's face it, the Magic are an elite team. If the Wizards are to have any hope in those one, we need to see some vintage Hibachi out there. Gilbert has been off lately all season. He'll need to have a stellar performance from the 3 point line to keep this game close.
THE OLD MAN FROM SCENE 24 Answer Me These Questions Three
[img]
Will McGee contain Dwight Howard at all?
Will the 3 guard lineup for the Magic finally play into the hands of the Wizards 3 guard lineup?
Honestly, do we really stand a chance?

Remember when we beat Orlando last time? It's weird that all of the guys who started that game are no longer on the team.

I hope Wall is healthy enough to play, but if he isn't then we'd better not play him. I want to see both Wall and Andray at 100% before they step back onto the floor. Gil, McGee, Hinrich, and NY are our only competent, healthy players at this point. Play them with the rooks and scrubs like we did at the end of the Hawks game so our injured masses can put themselves back together.

goin to the game, can't wait to see us lay another goose egg!

Orlando is playing well, this will probably come down to three point shooting. If orlando is cold, the wizards may be able to work their magic on em...har har har

The key is going to be if Blatche and McGee can establish any type of presence at all, either on defense or offense. If I'm Flip, I would make sure that whatever bigs are in, they are at least competing.
This game will tell me a lot about Blatche and his heart, seeing as how he was mentally and physically dominated in the last game against the Magic and looked like a complete b!tch last night against the Hawks.

I agree, that's the key to whether we lose by 15 or 30.

None of that **** is the key. The key is if the idiot continue's to run that stupid 3 guard lineup or not

+1 for the love of god man, please bring a fresh approach to this game. Toronto beat them and Indiana and NJ both made Orlando work for wins.

I hope Wall doesn't play. He is clearly hurting and i think it is better safe than sorry with a rookie. You don't want him playing hurt, struggling and losing confidence.

No need for Wall to play. Were going to get blown out regardless.

I expect to see a lot of zone against this great 3pt shooting team.

Wall and Gil need to show up for this one if we want to stand any kind of chance. Wall will get plenty of open jumpers and he has to taken them, do not hesitate! Gil just keep doing what your doing, shoot the open shots and drive and kick when the opportunity is there. Javale and Blatche usually struggle against this team, Javale I can understand, Blatche is just lazy & slow. We have yet to see a good game from JaVale against D12, he doesn't need to score all that much to help us out. Rebound the ball and block shots or alter them. Magic will shoot three's and plenty of them, gotta get out on em. I hate the three guard line up by the way. It's a mismatch waiting to happen and that just makes it worse to watch on defensive end.

I don't remember having so many game time decisions in my life. Out of all the flak Flip's received in the last month or two, the biggest thing that's bugged me is the "Hour before game time availability" and the "10 minutes before game time starting line-up."

It drives me crazy too, but I can't really fault Saunders for having to contend with a banged up squad. I worry about Arenas clocking too many minutes with Wall out (or vice versa) and Hinrch playing too much. If any of Wall, Blatche or Thornton are out or hobbled, whether the game's a blow out or close, Young, Martin, Gee, Booker, and Seraphin should see significant minutes (maybe not all, but most of them).

Well, I hope the Magic are ready for an Arse kicking.
Check that, make that "the Wizards ready for an Arse kicking".
Wizards-Magic, Magic-Wizards; easy to get those two confused due to the thematic convergence.
As always, the silver lining is that a blowout means garbage time scouting minutes for Seraphin.
Actually, we are 5-2 at a home, so you never know, might be one of those "on any given November 28th's" kind of games. Maybe we're due up. The Magic did lose to Toronto at home.

it looks like no Wall tonight as Gil & Kirk start. Gee also gets the start at the 3. For those of you who want Gil gone, maybe this can be the showcase game for the team who is the top destination for him.
