Hello Washington fans... Just curious to know if you guys would consider trading McGee for Austin Daye plus a conditional first round pick from the Det Pistons!!! Daye was quite impressive starting for us a PF but he is more of a SF and Q has relegated him to the bench, even though his production was outstanding. Daye can flat out shoot the lights out!!!

A conditional pick is too much to ask for. How bout a 2nd rounder and we'll give you Seraphin as well.

Along with the 2nd rounder and Seraphin, I'd consider a swap of Wall for Ben Gordon as well.

No, I think it'd be futile to try. Besides, Howard has an expiring contract, and Hinrich has only 1 more year left, and Hiney has the same role that Miller would fill - except he has the versatility to move to the 2. The Wiz are in rebuild mode, so Przy isn't a fit. That leaves Rudy and low firsts, and that won't cut it.

I didn't realize that Howard was expiring. The focus of Przybilla and Miller were the expiring contracts. I do think that Miller has quite a bit of veteran savy that would benefit Wall's development though.

I would consider trading McGee to the Blazers. The deal would be Batum, Pryz, and Portland's first rounder for McGee and Yi.

Batum does make it more enticing, but not enough for McGee. A deal involving Batum and Blatche could be worth discussing.

I remember him from his UCLA days, with the Bullets, and with the Celtics.
To start a rant, I find it funny when a guy like Wesley Matthews goes undrafted or when folks wonder whether Seth Curry can play in the NBA. Their dads were pros and the sons are more athletic and nutured to be pros. Hmmm?
Mychal Thompson's son Klay is a beast. DX has him in round two but I believe he'll be a very good pro.
I haven't even seen him play and I think he's still in HS, but you just know Austin Rivers will be a good NBA player.
Kobe is the prototype. NBA player pops with prodigee son. Son's usually better.
Luke Walton is an exception.
So is Marcus Jordan (though he might make an NBA team, watch and see).

As are the Barry boys - all of 'em. And Damien Wilkins. And Pat Ewing Jr. And Danny Schayes.
Frankly, I think it's a toss-up at best as to whether the son of a famous baller will outshine his dad. Kobe and Curry are clearly better than their pops, but there aren't many more in that category. And, there are quite a few guys who were comparable to or worse than their dads in their respective primes.

You Washington fans think Daye and a conditional 1st round pick from Det is not enough for McGee? Maybe it should be Stuck, Prince and 3 first round picks for McGee... You guys crack me up!!!
