.

It's a new year. Time for a winning streak.

Go Wiz!

Our 2011 good luck charm is former Wizards dance team member, Myra.

I say leave it as is. Try something new. The other glamor thread don't seem to hold any magic.

Maybe back to basics is the theme for this year and this team.

It's worth a try.

Hell, I always just blow by the first post stuff anyway. This way it would take less scrolling.

And for God sake. It's a new year. No more Lov a Bulls please. I almost tasted my lunch the last time one of your posted that crap and I had nightmares for a week. Stop it already.

Oh

Hinrich, Yi return

Guard Kirk Hinrich (thigh) and forward Yi Jianlian (knee) returned to practice, and the two said they felt encouraged by their continued progress returning from injury.

The only player not on the practice floor was Josh Howard, who Saunders said was held out because of soreness.

So we still may not have the full crew. No mention of Howard being available for the game. It would be interesting to hear a little more about what is going on with him.

I feel like this is somehow religiously blasphemous.

I remember when I was younger (probably about 5) I asked my very religious Mom if God had a penis. Apparently, this was very blasphemous. I think it was a perfectly reasonable question. :(

Well, that pretty much nixes our chances at our first road win.

1st time we should have all hands on deck all year and it seems like a pretty winnable game

Do not under estimate the revenge-factor, recall how we humiliated Philly with that come from behind tie and win in OT? Philly will be fired-up.

Damn, IDK why but for some reason I was thinking this game was at home. Oh welll, we're still relatively healthy and due for a good road win. Wall usually bounces back with big games & low turnovers after a couple of bad ones. He should have the rust off now and was flying around at practice so I expect good things but Holliday is pretty good also. Philly is looking alot better of late so it should be interesting. I think the key guy could be Lewis. He's due for a hot night and he could cause matchup problems if he ever gets on track. I say the few days of practice helps and he shoots very well

Philly really needs to dump Brand and Iggy for whatever and rebuild with the young guys. There is no point in having a high payroll with a fringe playoff team. I think Thad and Speights would really break out if they didn't have vets playing in front of them.

I'm hoping and praying that we put together a little win streak here. Philly is improved, but they're beatable. And the next few games on the schedule look winnable as well. It would sure boost the morale on this team to go out and win 4 out of the next 5 games or so, including a road win or two. With the way we have consistently competed on the defensive end, I really feel like we're just a few breaks away from turning the corner.

I'm so tired of losing.

I can live with losing--as long as we look like we have no hope for the future while doing so. I'd give a lucky win for a gritty loss at this point. That'll change once we can [if we can] establish ourselves as a winner, but for now, I just want Dray to rotate on help D, Wall to stop turning the ball over, and McGee to stop some opposing centers.

Blatche wastes no time jacking up a long jumper early in the clock. I don't mind if it is late in the clock but early in the clock those are bad shots.

How is that a bad shot? He shot it because he was open, and until recently, he was money with that jumpshot. I don't mind him taking that shot.

Now why is McGee still not learned where his shot is on the floor.

You have to imagine Flip is telling them this stuff and McGee just isn't listening. No wonder he gets
benched.
