John Salmons and Drew Gooden are Wizard killers. Otherwise, I'd claim for sure the Wizards' first road win. Bogut owns the Wizards, too.

I still think the Wizards will win. I'll say 102-93, Wizards win with Wall posting a triple double.

If the Wizards win on 1/19/2011, they become 1-19 on the road. I predict 1-19 on 1/19

There's no way a competent GM would let a coach with 0 road wins by the all star break keep his job. For this sole reason, I would not be totally upset if we didn't win tomorrow, or the road game after that, and the next, etc...

Looking for a great game from the Bean. He has actually had success on the road. It's just most of his not so good games have come more on the road than at home so people get the impression he hasn't had any good games on the road. He has.

Image

Looking for another high assist game from Speedy. I think he and Flip had a light bulb moment after the Raptors games and the dividends was the Utah production. I posted after the TOR game that I believed Wall had hit bottom and would be rebounding. I expect to see even more amazing things from him moving forward. As good as he has done, he can do better. Get more efficient. And dish out even more dimes than he just did. The kid has a 20 dimes game in him. Maybe even higher eventually.

Image
Hopefully McGee can stay out of early foul trouble this game so he is out there rebounding and doing nasty dunks.

And the Million Dollar Question. What was that we just saw from Dray last game, because that looked like Dray from last year. Was a taste of it enough for him to snap out of it?

Stay Tuned...

Really looking forawrd to seeing the individual matchups. NY vs Salmons, Lewis vs Maggs is so unique, and then McGee, Dray, and your boy Yi against guys like Bogut, Gooden, Illy, and Luc. Im the biggest Skiles fan there is so I know it will be hell but we're due. With that being said, I just want to see us show up for once.

You would think that with 0 road wins these guys would be so pumped and come out so focus but like the last 5 games they have come out so flat, looked competely nonchalant, no passion, and then we fall behind by 20 before making a run. That better not happen this game. If NY, Dray, and Wall play great against this D then Im sold on them the rest of the year

Despite their woes, the Bucks are a well-coached team who always seem to have our number. OTOH, they have won only 2 of their last 10 games. Let's win this!

just a little insight wont make this right
its too late to fight, it ends tonight, it ends tonight

A matchup with Milwaukee (14-24) should give the Wizards a decent chance to earn that elusive first road win. The Bucks have lost three straight and six of seven, and at 8-9 are one of seven teams with a losing record at home.

John Salmons could give the Bucks an additional boost, as he's scored 19.8 points a game in his last six against the Wizards.

Bogut made a big difference in Milwaukee's victories, averaging 17.0 points and 5.0 blocks versus the Wizards last season.

The quote was apropos, and while they're not on my iPod I don't mind the rejects. Tyson Ritter signed my friend's band to his label, so I'll always have a soft spot for them anyhow.

Anyhow, I'm very excited to John Wall's first career game-winner tonight.

I don't understand why people get so hung up on the road wins as if they matter more than total wins. If Flip is to be fired, he should be fired because we're 12-27 overall, not because we're 0-19 on the road. That's an arbitrary distinction as far as I'm concerned. Hell, I'd be perfectly happy finishing 0-41 on the road if we also finished with a 33-8 record at home (winning all remaining home games).

The point is, a win is a win and a loss is a loss. It doesn't matter whether they happen on the road or at home. If anything, I'd say it's better to be dominant at home and suck on the road rather than be roughly the same in both venues. At least that way, the season ticket holders are happy and willing to spend money.

Former Hawks center Thomas Payne, first black to play ball for UK Wildcats, now serving time in prison?

I've seen more wins this year already than I saw all of last season. Given a fixed number of wins, I'm fine with having a disproportionate amount at home.
