Game Thread: Wizards vs Bucks

It seems like interest in the game threads has been dwindling lately. I think people don't fully appreciate how important these games are. It is imperative that the Wizards keep their eyes on the prize....

Some of the Wizards are already doing a pretty good job keeping their eye on the ball but a couple of the guys really need to get with the program. Wall in particular has been slacking lately. Enough with the one man fast breaks and the constant attacking in the half court set. More jumpers please. How is that jumper ever going to get better if you don't shoot it in the games?

Nick needs to remember that this is a contract year. He needs to show that he can do more than just score. Time to unveil his hitherto unseen playmaking skills and stop being so selfish. In particular he needs to be looking for the big guys, especially when they are on the perimeter where they can do the most damage.

The other guys are doing a pretty good job already but they need to take their efforts to the next level. Mo is in a contract year and it is time he started playing like it. He is the veteran here and he needs to start calling for the ball, especially on the break. When you see Wall looking like he is going to take it all the way to the rim you need to demand the ball. Don't let some snotnosed rookie take money out of your pocket.

Blatche has been doing a great job with his hide-and-don't-seek pick and roll defense. However i would like to see more of his patented dribble behind the back and step back jumpers.

McGee should focus more on his shotblocking, especially when he is 2 feet from the rim. Rotations....blowtations. Gotta let Javale be Javale. Forget the haters.

Booker/Seraphin you guys have 6 fouls each. What are you saving them for? They aren't going to carry over to the next game. You know you are going to get limited minutes so you have to make those minutes count. You have 6 bullets in your holster and you might as well use them. You will sleep better at night knowing that you contributed to a good cause.

already without Josh & Shard, IDK if we will have enough scoring to win this one if Dray is out or hurt

McGee is **** horrendous. He put up a one handed shot while fading away, got his **** blocked by a guard, and then he goal tends on the other end.

This team has alligator arms. We need a 7 foot big with like a 10 foot wing span.

Thats what Nick needs to do more of & stop settling for that J. That will always be there and it will be there even more if he mixes it up. He's too good of an athelete & has too good of handles to not attack the rim more, espically when guys are aggressively playing him tight & overplaying him like Salmons is

Sucks for "7day". Everytime he starts playing well then he has another setback. Then he comes back and sucks again.

Yeah that is my main problem with Nick. You can stop for a pullup J any time. He needs to keep driving until the defense gets in his way instead of settling for that pullup after one dribble.

That concrete below those cheerleaders is hard.

That stunt is dangerous. Yep, I'm old if that's all I have to say about it. :)

NY is making me mad. He knows that we already are without 2 of our top scorers and then our other big scorer in Dray goes down so he's like the only top scorer left, yet he has a dumb nonchalant look on his face and gets 2 stupid fouls. I wont count on him to bail us out this game unless he changes his attitude. It might take one of those nights for Crawford for us to win this one or better yet, do it on the defensive end. We have enough guys to do it on that end and win games, espically against a bad Offensive team like the Bucks

That first goaltending on N'Giaye was pretty dubious.

Afraid I can't see the game - what happened to Dray? Any chance he'll be back?

the one good thing about our future is that all our really young guys are physical, athletic, & tough. We need that, alot of it
