http://espn.go.com/nba/team/_/name/wsh/ ... on-wizardsI didn't see a thread and I'm heading to work so I wanted to get something started.
INJURIES
I couldn't find any news on Dray, Howard, Lewis, Martin so who knows who will be playing.
I imagine Lewis is semi shutdown so I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't play again.
Howard played last game so and I didn't hear anything about him getting injured so he should be back.
So what is the word on Dray ? He has been out since March 8th so he should be feeling a little better by now.
Martin - PATELLA TENDINITIS
Well, this is the suck part of a losing season because we are fighting for the top lottery pick looking for that 3rd or 2nd worst record against SAC and MIN. I'm just hope this is the last year we are in this situation. I think it is.

I'm glad we at least have expectations of not sucking.
I never really thought how much influence the owner has on winning and losing. But looking at the drastically different behavior by EG under Pollin and Leonsis makes me wonder.
Anyway, not watching the game tonight, have a conflict. Oh, who am I kidding, I'd rather stick hot needles in my eyes than watch this team play. Hopefully they'll get a good draft pick and play better next year.

Yeah, I hear you but I will still be watching.
I want to see ever minute of the young player while I can.
Might be until next Jan before we get to see them again.
I'm glad they called up Hamady. I like seeing him on the court. I think he may be able to stick around.

I feel like Vinny Cerrato (see DC Sports bog) breaking down film even though no one has hired me. I will watch the game anyway and comment anyway despite how painful it often is. If bulletproof has any kind of shoulder sprain I think it will take more than one week to resolve, and probably won't be fully healed for a while.
Here's to hoping Seraphin shows some signs of life.
*thanks for putting together some sort of game thread, I couldn't find any info on who is out tonight either, it would appear that the Post is in quit mode as well.

I have a partial plan. They barely even invite me to the games.
Tonight's key stat: number of Thunder jerseys in the stands.

What we need to happen:
Wall to play elite MVP-caliber ball.
Booker to play well.
Seraphin to play well.
Blatche to play and play well, mostly at center.
McGee to suck to help motivate him this offseason (and to allow Booker and Seraphin more minutes).
Young to suck to drive down his free agency price.
The team to lose a close game to keep me interested but keep the lotto balls coming.

Am I the only one still not completely sold on Seraphin just yet? Yes, intriguing physical specimen and I know most like his toughness & demeanor. But there's not much skill or production to go along with the physical tools & fist pounding thus far.

Maybe because we're comparing him to JaVale. He looks decent compared to him.

Wall
Nick
Howard
Booker
McGee
Closest thing to what I wanted to see starting yet.
Should be interesting.
Booker should really help hide McGee shortcomings.

Howard definitely isn't bashful.

@ Booker punishing Westbrook.

Booker clobbered Westbrook.
So are these refs every going to call a foul against the Thunder?
I have seen like 5 blown calls already and we aren't even out of the first quarter.
Nick just got fouled.
Wall was fouled the play before.
They missed a foul and a goal tend on the same play.

McGee still hasn't learned. Totally bit on that pump fake.

And it was against a little dude under the basket.
