Game Thread: WAS @ POR - Tue 3/22/11

I just glanced at the scoreboard and realized that we're playing tonight. So far, I'm 0-2 on game threads, losing both games by 20+. I don't like our odds.

Game time is 10:00. Portland is coming off of a 4-point loss in LA against the Lakers. They won the 3 games prior to that and they're fighting it out with New Orleans for the 6th seed and the matchup against Dallas (rather than the 7th seed and a matchup against LA).

The Wizards just notched their obligatory one win per 8 games and are now due for another 7 game losing streak. Let's hope Wall, Booker and McGee continue to play well. I need some reason for optimism.

A polite offer Nate but I think I can speak for most of us when I say.

Well take a rain check on that if it is ok with you.

I think McGee broke a record with the quickest 2 fouls to begin a game. Sheesh.

Wall really needs to stop picking up his dribble.

Thats what Im talkin about Wall. He was making me sick early. Its like he let people boost his head about all those J's he hit last game and wanted to come out shooting like Nash. Get to the rim. Thats still your game. Take the J if its all you have but other then that go inside, atleast until next year when you become more consistent at it. Looks like he's a quick learner though and wont die by it

We're not playing too badly, really. We just need to continue getting those assists and being aggressive.

Flip just should have started KS and N'daiye. Why not? 5 rooks can't play worse than that starting line up.
