I went with Flip.

I mean, Hamady, Seraphin, Yi, Owens, Jeffers and Shakur with a touch of Crawford on a bad shooting night? That's really putting the fun into dysfunctional.

I was considering voting for Wizards TEAM Tank. I considered putting Yi, with his stellar -19 among consideration too. But he had 12 boards. Lots of other guys could have made the list of nominees (Seraphin was a dud, McGee had a couple of real head-slapping plays, etc). Put these things together and it would seem like a good team tank.

But I voted for the Raptors because nobody could tank so obviously - thumbing their nose at lottery karma - while purposefully throwing games.

gotta be Flip in his farewell performance.

(Just wanted to give a few posters a happy moment to tide them over through the Summer of their discontent.)

Minnesota has to take the cake for the season. The Cavs lost 24 of 25 and they re somehow better than the T Wolves. They lost their last 15 games and shut down Kevin Love with a minor groin injury.

But Im proud of the raps tonight. Pulled it out despite the Heat not playing the big 3 or Mike Miller

I'm neutral to whether this is his last game, but I do say this game Flip couldn't have coached any better down the stretch.

With Andray Blatche, Maurice Evans, John Wall, McGee and Crawford getting most of the playing time in the first and third quarters, the Wizards outscored the Cavaliers 59-47. And with the backups getting action in the second and fourth quarters, the Wizards were outscored 53-34. “We tried to get a lead, build a lead as much as possible,” Wall said. “Coach, he wanted to win this game. We all wanted to win this game. But I think he did a great job of giving everybody an opportunity to play, letting them develop the last game of the season.”

“I thought our first, main group played really well,” Saunders said. “I probably would like to see them play the whole game, the way they were playing. Were moving the ball, we were really active and pretty much dominating in many aspects. But it was a good opportunity for us to see a lot of the young guys.

The starters didn’t have any problem with the decision. “Flip, I think wanted to thank those guys for their patience and hard work. You can’t help but root for an organization like this and think they’re going to get there faster than other people may think, like next year,” said Evans, who added that he would like to return next season.

The amazing thing with the Raptors is that we didn't really try to tank; in fact, our coach went out of his way to try to win meaningless games in the second half of the year, riding the starters long past the point of logic.

We sat out key players down the stretch, but that's largely because Triano ran them into the ground...Amir Johnson was playing through back spasms and an ankle injury for no discernible reason before being shut down (the natural consequence of throwing him out for heavy minutes the second he retuned), Bargnani was getting 35+ minutes/game with bone spurs in his ankle, Barbosa should have undergone wrist surgery six months ago, and we tried for a while to play Calderon through a hamstring injury, despite basically crippling his effectiveness by doing that two years ago (to the point where he tore it badly, and continued playing).

In short, Triano's unwillingness to tank crippled half of our team, and then our natural suckiness took over. Probably not the doctor-recommended way to do it, but it worked out.

In retrospect, I wish I had been smart enough to make Minnesota one of the finalists for Tanker of the Game.

They tanked their entire season. The ping pong ball gods had better not reward them for their actions.

Jordan. He was clutch. It's not how many you make, it's when you
make them. With a couple lotto slots on the line, Jordan came
through.
