Zonkerbl named new Washington Caps board mod

I want to take a second to welcome Zonkerbl to the RealGM board moderator community. He's interviewed with Howard Mass and will, later today, have his status changed to Moderator.

You all know Zonker. He's a smart guy. A good guy. And a credit to the boards. He's the kind of board poster everyone should aspire to be.

To be transparent, our goal this year is to build board membership. Zonker and I - and possibly a mod to be named later - will be trying to tap into the enthusiasm around the DC area for the Caps. There's no reason why we can't make the Caps board among the most dynamic on all of RealGM, in any sport.

I hope you'll take a moment to congratulate Zonker and wish him the best. The RealGM community is a better one with this move. And we look forward to working with Zonker in his new role as moderator.

Well, it's like this, see, I used to be ZonkerTheBrainless, and then my hard drive crashed, and the email that was in the system was defunct, so I sort of had no choice but to start over as ZonkerBL. But I had reached some significant milestone before that happened...

Congrats Zonk. I'll try to my duty of heading over to the Nats and Caps forums. The problem has always been having consistent posting/discussions in both sections. I also haven't visited the hockey forums ever since I talked a lot of smack with opposing fans during the Capitals/Penguins playoff series and ended up with a lot of egg on my face. :lol:
