The DC area is really blessed with interesting teams in other sports beyond our Wizards.
I invite all of you to visit the Wizards' sister boards.
1. Hail to the Redskins. Join your hosts Lyrical and W.Unseld for 'Skins talk. With lots of low-hanging fruit for discussion - lockout(?), who's the QB(?), Dan Snyder(!) -- there's a whole lot to talk about on the forum.
2. Join Zonkerbl and I on the Washington Capitals board. A team with Ovechkin, Backstrom, Green, etc is going to be exciting. The key is for the team to take next steps in post season. What roster moves would you make to help bring Lord Stanley's cup to the District?
3. After years of total absence, and additional years of suckage, baseball in the district is on the rise. A better-stocked farm system and exciting young players make your Washington Nationals a franchise worth following. And just up I-95, the Baltimore Orioles are working to build a new tradition of winning with young players who still play the game The Oriole Way. Join board mods Rafael and Jollay with the Nats as well as WizStorm and Rafael on the Orioles beat.
Who knows how the NBA lockout will go. But regardless of what happens, sports - interesting, exciting, at times maddening and frustrating sports - happen all year round in the DC-area. Take a moment and drop all us some of your knowledge on the Skins, Caps, Nats, and Os boards.
Aloha!
