What is the situation with him. Is he injured? Will he play at some point?

He's having problems with his knee. He had his knee drained lat week I believe, and said that he gets the feeling that it might need surgery. I don't know when he'll return.

With our medical staff, that means he could be out for the year...

he's been busy selling out his teammates. j/k Actually I think it's a good thing Mo called out his teammates for having entitlement complexes. This team's approach to team discipline has been awful for awhile now. Finga Gunz should've been the end of the laissez faire attitude management seems to take vis a vis player insubordination. Now that a player like Evans has spoken up about it, I think it forces EG's hand a bit. Leonsis knows that people won't pay money to see a bunch of selfish brats lose.

Adding two mature player like Mason and Mo who were a part of the NBA CBA process was brilliant by EG. These guys have also been to the playoff and parts of good teams. They have a complete picture of the NBA and they have survived with limited skills which is a great example.

These are exactly the type of people this team needed to add to get the younger players to mature.
They have all the credibility in the world. What they know and who they are is way more important then what they can do on the court. This teams problems are between their ears mostly. And both can still contribute in defined roles on the team which is exactly what the rest of the team needs to learn to do.

Perfect additions given the rebuild stage they are in.

Laron Profit was on the Sport Fix and he basically applauded Mo's effort but says it's hard to "lead from the back", meaning that guys who don't actually play have only a limited voice. It would have been nice for both Mo and Turiaf to play big minutes all season. They are really the only leadership-type guys. Lewis just isn't vocal enough.

Every year we look for an Injured vet to sign for the year. Last year is was Josh Howard, this year it's Mo Evans. Next-year it will be Jeff Green.
