Predict Gil's next team

Post#1 » by dobrojim » Wed Jan 11, 2012 10:25 pm

If an otherwise intelligent organization like DALLAS can
sign the ex-Wizard Yi, then surely someone sooner or
later will take a chance on Gil.

Who?

I've got a spot on my adult B league team. It would be great having Gil come off our bench

I was just thinking about this the other day....he is missing MORE basketball. Over the past 3-4 seasons, he has missed so many games. I just think he's not use to playing.

It shows you just how little interest is around the league for him.

Word is there were multiple teams interested in signing him and the knee is bothering him so he's rehabbing. He'll be able to sign with someone when he's ready.

I know he's only 30 years old, but Arenas is done as an NBA player IMO.

I think he probably follows Dwight Howard if he dealt. I Howard stays in Orlando, I think there is a good chance he goes to the Lakers. I think the Knicks might be a possibility if Baron Davis can't play effectively this season.

Even crazier than Yi is Mike James.

Lakers since they have no one who can create off the dribble besides Kobe

My money is on the Hawks. They didn't replace Crawford. Teague struggling. Already have one shell of his former self guy in TMac. Seems like a fit. Darkhorses are Boston and Memphis.

I doubt it would be his first choice, but he should consider the Suns, just to work with their trainers.
Making extreme statements like "only" sounds like there are "no" Jokics in this draft? Jokic is an engine that was drafted in the 2nd round. Always a chance to see diamond dropped by sloppy burgular after a theft.

Sadly, the gun incident has really hurt Arenas' credibility in the NBA. He should've came back to the Wiz with a vegeance instead of looking pitiful with a long face. I was hoping that the critics would make him come back with a chip on his shoulder. I wish him the best in his career.

he needs to put up a youtube video of him showing he can still shoot. that's his only marketable skill. the days of him creating off the dribble are over.

The Hawks are not that desperate. Teague has been doing fine. When Hinrich gets back from injury they will have their best pg rotation since Mookie played.
