RENO, Nevada -- With Derrick Rose hampered by turf toe and unlikely to play on Wednesday, the Chicago Bulls were looking for help at guard. They found it in Reno, where it only took a two-game audition in the D-League for veteran guard Mike James to earn an NBA recall.

It's a new day. The Wizards finally have Ves added to the roster and the young man hit the ground running. And since they have more options in the front court, they have new line ups and rotations that are more balance so now they can come out with hard D, which should match the Bulls, then they roll out more vets and scoring. It looked great last game. I think these young player can believe and pull together.

And what could be more a sign from God. Crawford said he was better then MJ and now he will have a chance to go head to head with him. That's right. Mike James is in the house.

With Rose out and them at the end of a busy part of their schedule,
maybe we give them a run. Not counting on it certainly. But hopeful
after last night for at least one game.

Can't let Korver go off. Hopefully Sing and JV will stick to him.
They'll probably run him off a lot of screens so team D and
communication will be important.

I also worry about Taj. I think Booker/Sing will do OK against
Boozer/Deng as long as the refs aren't ridiculous and let them
actually play.

Chicago is a well-coached team, they can handle us w/o Rose easily with the rest of da-Bulls.

That's the spirit. Aim low. Then you don't have to be disappointed it we play like crap. And if we win, more the better

Hey. All things being equal, better to get them at the end of a three game with no Rose then fully rested and with him.

That is some favorable luck for a team that needs it. And it has to improve their confidence that they could pull an upset.

worry about Taj Gibson? i'm considerably more worried about CJ Watson doing his best Lou Williams impersonation and lighting us up for 30.

I'm much less concerned with stopping the Bulls O than I am about breaking 70 points against their D. 86-69, bad guys.

Watson is hurt also. He's out for several weeks. We are down to John Lucas III at the PG position tonight. No Rose/Hamilton/Watson and hopefully that's it.

With our roster, I do wonder if we will reach 70 points.

What I am looking forward to seeing is how they take us smacking them in the mouth back.

They never played a Wizards team with Booker, Singleton and Vesley cranking up the D pressure.

Rose is a lot of their offense. 20 pts a game. And he does a lot of that on his own.

I don't know this team inside and out. Who is going to score for them and from where and one who ?

No Rose. No Rip. No Watson.

So they are going to have to get 48 minute at PG from John Lucas and Mike James ?

And with our new harassing defense putting pressure on the ball.
