Wizards VS Bobcats - Tank-off 2.0

The Washington Wizards are the NBA's last remaining team without a road win this season.
Visiting the scuffling Charlotte Bobcats could help change that.
In a meeting of the two teams with the worst records in the league, the Wizards try again for their first road victory Saturday night against a Bobcats team hoping to avoid losing eight straight for the first time in almost five years.
Washington (3-16) is one-half game ahead of NBA-worst Charlotte (3-17), thanks to a 92-75 home win over the Bobcats on Wednesday in coach Randy Wittman's first game since replacing Flip Saunders. The Wizards failed to carry over any momentum into the weekend, falling 103-76 at Houston on Friday.
Washington, which led the Rockets by as many as eight points early on, shot just 36.4 percent and committed a season-worst 24 turnovers.

Seriously, we've got a 50/50 chance of winning tonight, our guys just don't have the stamina....at-least not most of them.

When the Janchise goes off for 8 points, 11 rebounds, 16 tipped passes and 37 illegal holds/hand-checks, what's Charlotte gonna counter with? Exactly. Our Euro's gonna own Diaw's fat French arse.
Wiz win by fifteen.

What's Anchise going to do when Biyumbo bismacks him? BB goes for a trip dub, and CharBobs take it by 20. Anchise would go for one himself, except for that pesky rule limiting fouls to 6 a game. But he will make the highlight reel by hitting the top of the backboard with a free throw.

Dray had blocked dunk attempt nightmaires last night. Woke up at 3AM screaming for a Big Mac
Not sure if they will change the starting line up again. I think Dray was moved off the bench because Houston would run him off the court.
Last Bobcats game they started.
Wall/Mack
Nick/Craw
Lewis/Singleton
Dray/Ves/Booker
McGee/KS
I wonder if Randy goes back to that. I could see him going that since they won. Well, if they have KS to back up center. He ran the youngs together as the second unit.
Or if no KS, hopefully he finds this rotation.
Wall/Mack
Nick/Craw
Singleton/Lewis/Nick
Ves/Booker ( either starting )
McGee/Dray

I have it on good authority that the Wizard's coaches are planning a cunning counter-stroke involving Pavlovian conditioning. In the first half, an assistant coach will ring a bell every time a Wizard's player starts to shoot, only to face the bismack-tual fury of Biyombo's extenda-arms. In the second half the bell will still ring, however, all the Wiz' players will be instructed to pump fake instead of shoot. If BB doesn't foul out in six consecutive sequences, they'll start ringing the bell every time he gets the ball on offense.
And that's how the Wizards will come back to win..... with SCIENCE!

I swear I dont know what to think about this game. I just hate the fact that he benched Dray one game after his best statsistic game of the season, against a team he has always played well against, and he always plays well early after a coaching change. You bench him for a guy who's not a true PF and you do this after we come off a big win with confidence. You make the whole team adjust and you put Dray's head back in the crappers when he may have been starting to change.
Again, Im not against benching Dray but that was the worst game all year to do it in. If he was going to do that then why not do it in the previous game which was Witt's 1st game or why not do it tonight if he sucked against the Rox. I hate random crazy stuff like that. If you wanted to start JV then why not over Shard? You saw how well Ves played Scola last game but you didnt see the big games Dray has had against that team? It makes no sense.
Now I feel like he threw the rythm off. Then the game before he brings back Wall & NY late in a blowout. The last night he subs everyone at strange times. Its just weird. He's outhinking himself. Now tonight do you start Dray or Ves? Do they think every game that it may be a switch in the lineup depending on the matchup? Is Dray's head back in the crapper again? I just dont know.
Worst comes to worst you shouldve started Dray, benched him if he sucked, and then started JV in the 2nd half. I just didnt get it. Even if it was about Serahpin (which is wasnt), you can still start Dray, bring him out early for JV, then bring back dray for the backup C. I just think he put the whole team in a weird place & mindset. Should be interesting

dont just assume. Scola's not a super fast big or anything and Ive seen Dray put 30 on him before & use him. It didnt make sense to me

Dray could stay with Diop, it is not like he would outrun him. Blatche should play at C.

But if you have no KS to back up at center, then how do you start Dray and McGee ? You would have to have Ves or Booker backing up at center. Maybe Booker at center is the answer. He has a lot in common with B Wallace. Underside, strong, aggressive, can leap, can't shoot from the outside. Wouldn't that be nuts if it was true.

As a Janchise fan, I'd love to say the move was a permanent one, but its clear with KS being out, Wittman wanted a second C on the team. I'm not sure he had much choice.
That said, considering Janchise is in the Wizard's long term plans and Blatche is most likely not (same with Lewis), I'd LOVE to see Blatche's benching being a permanent thing - same with Lewis. Lets get the players that will be here next year as much opportunity to succeed as possible. I honestly am totally OK if this means we lose a few more games.
Bottom line, I don't think you'll find much sympathy here regarding Blatche's poor psyche, based on being benched after having a good game. The guy clearly isn't interested in doing the most basic things professionals do, so why worry about his state of mind?

why do people keep talking about backup Center? Who cares about that. Sometimes backup centers play less than 10 min. You can easly start Dray, bring him out at the 4min mark, and then put him at Center to start the 2nd quarter or anything similar like that.
The Rox backup bigs are Patterson & Hill. Patterson is like a 6'8 PF and Hill averages 4ppg. Do you really fear those guys so much that you cant start Dray or that they are going to kill Ves & Book? Its a joke. It was a dumb move that no other team would do. You dont make decisions on starters based on a backup that never plays. Seraphin has hadly even played.
Alot of teams use 3 man roations in the front or backcourt anyways. It wasnt important to make that switch for that. If youre going to do that then do it in the 2nd half if you failed in the 1st

Blatche played 14 minutes...can we agree this was 4 minutes too many then?

Given that McGee is only at about 30 mins a game - which is actually pretty normal for starting centers - a good backup center has a solid 18 minutes available right there. If we ran him at PF for only another 12 minutes, 'Drag would have had 30 mins of playing time.
He had no reason to play with so little energy, focus, or general concern for not being a terrible basketball player.
