call me a sucka but Im not picking on this one because literally any of those guys couldve won this one if you ask me. They are were big for us & game changers at different points. I guess Ill go with McGee for the total game if you put it on me but they all were big

NY. if it wasn't for his clutch shooting down the stretch , we lose that game. game probably woudn't have been close if he never got in foul trouble.

I'm giving it to McGee for the surplus scoring and the really nice pass to Vesely on the break.

Young was solid down the stretch, but he pretty much just did his job. He HAS to score 20 a night to justify his presence on the floor since he doesn't rebound or pass. I don't expect 22 points out of McGee.

1. McGee
2. Young
3. Booker

No love for 'Book?

Guy goes 6-6 from the floor and hustled...made some key contributions

I would list him as 1a, after 'Vale

What no props for Blatche. I though he said he'd die for Washington to succeed?!

I think he did. He looks like a corpse out there

Book was ineffective in the first half due to mistakes like
trying to rebound with one hand.

Book was really good in the second half but for the
whole game the POTG was McGee. Mullens did almost
all his damage when McGee sat.

Can you add Team/Coach to your poll in the future.

It was definitely McGee - and a pleasant surprise after his recent poor performances. Mullens had a career scoring day, but that wasn't against McGee, for the most part. He actually was very effective on defense. McGee made some mistakes, but if he plays like this consistently, he'll be just fine.

when the sample size is small, like one game.

Otherwise perfectly useful stat.

McGee. Yay McGee!

I don't like doing that because it skews the results when everything is tabulated at the end of the season. It's the Player of the Game thread, not the Most Important Determining Factor of the Game thread.

Definitely McGee, but I'd put Booker ahead of Young for second.
