With March approaching and this being a lockout shortened season. Do you all think Blatche will start averaging 20 and 8-10 rebounds per game ala the last part of last season and the 30 game stretch of 2010?

He is going to mess up our tank. I can feel it.

Yup. I think that's exactly what's going to happen.

I also think our management is foolish, gullible and stubborn-enough to believe it was their "tough stance" on Blatche that did the trick and that, because of their genius idea of getting him into game shape, he'll continue to put up fantastic numbers the following season -- thus, not trading him.

I don't think there's any chance he reaches 20 ppg, let alone 15. He's in terrible shape, and because of that, it's thrown off everything from his jumpshot to his ability to make a half decent post move without getting it altered or blocked. Unless Whitt decides to forego any type of efficicency, and let's Blatche shoot carte blanche, I don't see it.

Agreed. It's no longer an issue of Blatche being lazy on the court. In the shape he's in, Blatche couldn't post 20 and 10 no matter how hard he tried.

The only caveat is if Blatche wasn't really even injured, and the talk of a calf injury was just a ruse to give Blatche time to get his body right. If Blatche shows up in shape, 20 and 10 is possible.

That's why it depends. If he used the calf injury to improve his diet and was rehabbing a lot, than it is possible. But if he spent the whole time snacking on burritos and clubbing (the most likely scenario), than his value and play will not improve.

I believe the time off was for him to get in shape...the calf thing was just made up BS by the FO to protect whatever little value he has.

The thing is, who gets in shape that quickly? Unless Blatche has an MMA career no one knows about, there's no way he's going to be 100% in shape by the time he steps back on the court.

If Dray improves again towards the end of the season he will go down as one of the NBA's best trollers
