This sucks, oh well... I think he was solid for us this season. The team should resign him if we can't find another shooter.

Is there anyone decent left to call-up at this-point? Too-bad we didn't release and call-up Green like we wanted to earlier. No-matter, we're tanking to the finish line.

I heard them comment on this last night during the game. It was the first I had heard about the finger issue but they did say he would he having surgery.

Roger got a slow start this year but once he got it going, he fit well here and he was enjoyable to watch. I true pro. Thanks for everything Roger. I hope they offer you contract to come back another year.

Now if that doesn't solidify the tank, I don't now what does. Now they don't even have a back up SG. I wonder what they will find in the DL.

Roger will be miss. He's has been serviceable off the bench for us. That means more shots for J Crawford. Plus Roger was a good locker room guy. Another D league player for us?

Moses Ehambe maybe. His stats look nice.

Mo might get some minutes?

If we want a D-leaguer for the remaining games, we should just do what we always do and poach whoever the Spurs have looked at

Morris Almond

He isn't the best D-League player but he's way better than Jordan Crawford.

Does CCJ have an insider? Morris Almond signed by the Wizards.

I hope he does his best! This is his time. I truly believe this is his team, too.

Let's just say I am not too surprised, Raf.

This is too funny. Can't wait to see Almond in action considering he's been a topic of discussion here for 3-4 yrs now. Haha....

CCJ, can you update your scouting report on him?

He has suffered adversity. He has been bruised, battered, and belittled. Europe didn't go that well. The D-League had to be humbling. I think Almond knows his limitations.

Pride comes before the fall and a haughty spirit before destruction.

OTOH diamonds are formed under pressure and Mo Almond is a diamond in the rough. In order for him to stick he will need to do some things and I believe he knows what they are. :)

The main thing is it is by design Mo gets this opportunity and I pray that he just has faith in his shooting and that he's not too nice of a guy. He belongs in the NBA and I hope he's not afraid to mix it up. I think he's going to be fine if he's physical and if he rebounds the ball.

Almond is so much more discreet about his shots that by accident he should be more effective than Crawford. He is a knock down shooter, jivelikenice. Matt Carroll comes to mind. JJ Redick comes to mind. Jodie Meeks comes to mind. Mo has to shoot around 45% and 38% from three.

MOST OF ALL, he's got to show he can defend pick and roll. Dude better live in two places: Film room and weight room.

He's got his shot and people are definitely in his corner, EXPECTING him to make it. :)

I hope we're able to sign him again in the future, I think he fits well with the Wizards.
