Grunfeld is incompetent and Leonsis is just as cheap as Pollin.

I wish John Wall would force his hand and get involved in the selection process. He can't do any worse than Ernie the Dope

Horrible pick. Teams in our situation don't stash players for a few years.

What an embarrassing pick.

Not altogether surprising. A lot of saw a disappointment in round 2 coming. Rumors of us and the warriors liking him in workouts. Its not a shock at all. He looks athletic, but man, with Miller, Barton, Crowder, Machado etc, what the hell is that? So disappointing.

Its what Im always on about, so many people here seem to think we'll pick who we want in round 2. How many times have the wizards ever picked who anybody wanted in round 2? It's happened once in my entire life.

It actually makes sense to draft a guy for stashing purposes. Again, they have so many young players right now, it'd be tough to develop another - and it may not be worth short-changing the other youngsters to groom a guy who doesn't quite have elite talent.

Stash this guy overseas; if he ever matures, bring him over - or use him as a chip for a trade down the road. Not as sexy as, say, trading up for PJIII, but I understand the strategy.

I've never even heard of this guy before. So, I won't pass judgement on him. But I will say there were a half dozen or so players still on the board I would have been happy with, including a couple that I actually really liked. So kind of hard not to feel disappointment.

Man, what a cheap, circus pick... going for the Czech connection. May as well trot out Manute Bol and Mugsy Bogues again.
