Another blowout... HOU is stacked with good tweener forwards

I'm excited to see Beal vs. Lamb and how Jan matches up with Houston's forwards.

I hope Vesely and Motiejunas guard each other for most of the game. I thought Motiejunas was the more sensible international big man prospect for the Wizards in last year's draft. I thought all the pre-draft talk about Motiejunas' lack of passion was legit but after last night's game it seems his detractors got it all wrong.

I could've sworn I heard something about how Kevin McHale isn't a big fan of Marcus Morris, I wish there were some way the Wizards could get him on the roster. He was my pick at six in last year's draft.

One would be wise to completely ignore media conventional-wisdom. Most sports writing about the draft contains very original reporting, instead what you get is a bunch of guys re-writing someone else's story and that becomes the storyline for player X. The irony is that the year that Donatas thought about entering the draft, he was mocked at being taken 6th.

Vesely knocked down another long jumper. I'm also liking Beal's playmaking so far. Great start compared to yesterday.

They didn't look nearly as good after my post. I think i jinxed them.

Chris Webber just had one of the all-time gaffes on air.

He was trying to refer to "Ron Burgundy" but he told his sideline reporter to be like "Ron Jeremy".

Totally hilarious mistake!

They laughed for a good 5 minutes, hilarious.

Would like to see Beal get a bit more involved here but nice to see Mack playing well. Team looks much more in sync today.

Yeah, that was pretty funny and it took him like a good minute to correct himself. Also, Shelvin mack has stepped up this game...our big men apart from Vesely have been invisible.

Rockets snatched Lin away from the Knicks. Good for them, because the media in NY crucified Lin after that guy came out of nowhere to help them. They were very ready to kick Lin to the curb after Carmelo and Amare came back. The only reason the Knicks wanted him was for monetary gain.

Game is on NBA TV now. It was delayed by the previous game for those who have that channel available to them.

Ves hit a nice outside shot again. That will translate to real games. Nice high release.

Beal playing more of a PG role to start. Maybe he will get some minutes as back up PG. He was a PG when he was younger and in an interview mentioned he was wanted to be a SG/PG mix at that next level. That would work better then Mack as the back up.

I think Beal is going to get some time at 3 positions. Mostly at the 2 by he can play some small ball 3 and also some point SG ala Gil. Big difference is he wont be a shoot first version and he plays D.

Wall is the only pure PG but Crawford and Beal can maybe split the back up role. That makes room for Martin at the two and maybe they still add Mason.

Beal had a super quick release on those two 3 attempts... made the catch and shoot one.

Lamb starting to outplay Beal. Beal looks pretty gassed. Can't get separation at all.

C Web talking about how impressed he is with Beal.

They are saying they can see how he went #3 once you see him in person. You can just see the kid is something special.

Royce White is a bull. He is just laying a shoulder into anyone with in reach. I wish we added him. He would have been fun to root for as a home team player.

There has been a ton a solid talent coming into the league the last 3-4 years. Some old school players are winding down but it looks like a solid flock of players there to step in. Should be interesting.

What will a league without Nash, Duncan, Kidd, Kobe, etc look like.
