Yi jian lian flag bearer

Saw a tall figure with the flag during olympic presentation. First reaction awww the got yao. second reaction lol when i saw yi.

Yi is a baller in international play. 30 points in his first Olympic game.
I would love to have Yi on the bench of this team. Jianlian like a taller James Singleton when he doesn't have to be NBA-physical. His outside game and athleticism are high level, but his heart is not IMO. Can't take the NBA punishment and the grind, I don't think.
That said, with the bullies this Wizards team has on it, Yi could be a nice replacement off the bench.

A taller Singleton when he doesn't have to be physical? I don't get that. James Singleton's game is defined by his being physical. And I don't think Yi has an outside game to speak of. He shoots a low %.
No way I'd want him on our bench -- one year was enough.

Lol I literally cracked up when I saw him. He does so well in international ball and is such an icon in china, why dose take that and suck so bad
I can't believe he Is only 24 now

China vs Russia is on right now. Shvedis playing as well as khryapa and yi. Russia leading 32 19
