his "love" for Ernie and Ted obviously has nothing to do with the moves they've made to improve this team. it's probably more in the social sense.
can't really say I disagree with the guy...most of us have been saying the same the entire year. this team is a f***in joke. And he's absolutely right about Whitman...he's done a great job with essentially the worst roster in the league.

Wow, that was a pretty frank assessement of this team. While being polite " I love Ted & Ernie ...but", his comments were actually a polite indictment of the FO and owndership. SVG and Falk are right about Wall.

Just odd. He loses credibility when he calles Elton a Mercedes. The NO trade wasn't good for us, but Okafor is a much better player than Elton right now. I also don't get why Wall has to be THE guy? Why can't he be one of two to three guys to build around? That whole line of thinking is odd to me. Kyrie is a good player, but why does Cleveland only have 16 wins when he's played a lote more than John has. If the Wizards roster is as bad as Falk made it out to be, then we should be nowhere near Cleveland in the Win column. You can't build around a point guard as the 1A alpha male star. So why is John held to that standard?
If its a scoring pg, history has shown that they can only take a team so far. Rose is the closest I've seen, but when it came down to it the Heat were able to suffocate him..and since then his body has begun to break down.
Falk probably thinks Jeff Green is a building block for the Celtics.

What are they right about? Who has ever said you can build a team around him where he's the alpha male? The only arguments I've seen here are that he can be part of a nucleus that forms a winning team.

He has to do business with Ernie and Ted...it makes no sense for him to bash them publicly. Wall is not his client so he could care less about bashing him or anyone else on this team.

The guy has a career assist avg of 8.1 yet everyone who has an opinion questions his basketball intgelligence. Curious. My criticism of him (aside from needing to continue to improve his J) is the motor. I just want to see a consistent motor from him. There are games like yesterday where he slows down too much and doesn't seem to be playing with energy. I want him in attack mode at all times.
In regards to learning, the notion that a player can't learn this is assenine. He's shown improvement in changing speeds, and different ways to attack off the drive in the halfcourt so to say you are what you are at 20 is stupid. Falk definitely has an agenda or an axe to grind here

He also has a career turnover average of 3.8 and a career efg of .426. There's room for legitimate criticism.

Wall is a talented but flawed player. I haven't seen any progress in his 2 big flaws and this is year 3. Granted the lockout and extended absence this year could have hurt him but at this point i am undecided whether we should keep him past his rookie contract.

Nobody said there isn't, but ppl act as though he's a dumba$$ and just runs fast while stumbling into assists.
Kyrie has a career turnover average of 3.2 w/ only 5.5 assists. Rubio has a career average of 3 TOx. Jrue Holiday is averaging 4 TOs per game this year. None of these players have career assist average higher than John. Where's the criticism there? They don't play for good teams. Why no criticism there?

If he shows no substantial progress by next year than you have to evaluate. That being said, the team's record with him will be part of the equation at that point, as well as the asking price. Its not as simple as "His J isn't better so lets trade him"

Obviously Wall is the biggest problem holding this franchise back. We should be so much better than 10-8 with him back considering how good our front line is and with Beal & Webster playing like an all-stars. Trade him for Darren Collison & a 1st rounder while we have a chance.
DCollison/Carter-Williams(R)
Beal/Webster
Webster/Ariza
Nene/Bennett(R)
Okafor/Seraphin

Championship here we come!!!!

He has a point, but Wall is only 22 give him some time to develop that jumpshot. Until then tell David Falk to shut the falk up.

David Falk represents one player worth a darn in the NBA: Greg Monroe. His other clients: Bibby (Sucks), Brand (washed up), John Lucas III, Patrick Ewing Jr, Corey Maggette, Juwan, Toney Douglas, Jeff Green, Roy Hibbert, Evan Turner.
Is he mad the Wizards bypassed Turner in the draft? What other agent would publicly blast other players? I've never heard Arn Tellum or Dan Fagan do that? Its pretty unproffessional. Why is he even bringing up Kyrie Irving? The Wizards had no shot at drafting him, so who cares? Elton Brand is a Mercedes? HUH??????

I don't get how he can rip Wall, but not rip his own client who was the 2nd pick? If we had drafted Turner #1, he'd go to the media to complain about how we haven't put a good team around Evan.
