Washington @ Minnesota 3/6/2013 - 8:00

Post#1 » by nate33 » Wed Mar 6, 2013 11:55 pm

Minnesota is missing their entire starting front court: Pekovic, Love, and Kirilenko. They've lost 6 in a row and 21 of their last 25. Derrick Williams has averaged 21 and 10 over the past 5 games, but mostly in a "somebody's got to score" kind of way. He has had to play 40 minutes a night to put up those numbers, and his ORtg is just 100 for that stretch.

On the bright side for them, the Wizards suck on the road with a 5-22 record, and Beal is doubtful.

Go Wiz!

Looks at the numbers Mack putting up in the D league. Shelvin Mack has averaged 20.1 points, 7.5 assists and 4.3 rebounds in 40.3 minutes per game in the D-League this season.

No problem, truwizfan. I just posted this thread 2 minutes before yours. Frankly, I would have been happy to just delete mine and go with yours, but that would be bad juju since the Wizards won last game.

Quick ... Sign him.

It just one of those things. Some player are good enough to do it at one level but it doesn't translate to the next.

Mack has been signed by a few teams already. But he never sticks.

Maybe one day.

Start Ariza with Webster, let Singleton play some SF. We ain't got **** to lose, so why not. Hell put Vesely at the 5, not like Minny is a physically imposing team.

Love the sig. Man Beal really does remind me of Jesus Shuttlesworth. Sorry you didn't get to start the game thread.

I would love to see Jan get about 25 minutes tonight. What's the worst that can happen?

Given the Wiz' current situation, what would constitute "bad juju"? Seems to me bad juju would be good if it meant losing to a fellow ping pong ball collector.

I really believe wizards should start tanking for the remaining of there games. What's the point of winning wont help us in the up coming draft lottery.

Start Vesely at SG. Let him shoot 30 3s in the game.

I suggest you refrain from asking that question. You may not like the answer.

Dude, go all the way. Why not PG? Let Vesely run the offense, put Wall at the SG.

Minny looks so easy to defend. Each player has such obvious limitations. Washington should win this, but they can't commit a zillion turnovers. I say Webster scores 25.
