not news but wizards ownership/management is still horrible

Post#1 » by wasfan » Tue Apr 2, 2013 3:55 pm

just wanted to voice my disappointment at the wizards ownership/management in terms of fans management...
for season ticket owners, wizards had a program where they selected a few games (mostly with bad teams) where the season ticket owners can trade in unused tickets from other games for more seats...

well... with the recent 'success' of the wizards, the team terminated this program due with about 3 more designated games left in the season because 'they are now out of tickets to trade in.'

i call BS.

there is no way that the wizards can sell out verizon center for indiana or for philly... in fact, last checked on espn, there are more than 600 tickets for the chicago game tonight and more than 1000 for the miami game (two non designated game)...

canning this program early and essentially not sending out a notice to the season ticket owners is a bad move. i will only renew my seaon tickets next year because they are supposed to be frozen at bargain basement prices... if the wizards also reneg on that, you can be sure i'm out.
