I'm thinking Vesely breaks out of his funk and drops a double double on the Knicks.

Be prepared for a Chris Singleton sighting. He's racked up a lot of DNP-CD's this season but he's played meaningful minutes in all 3 Knick games so far and does a pretty decent job checking 'Melo. Of course, being Chris Singleton, he's managed to score all of 10 points in those 3 games, all 10 in one of the games and going 0'fer in the other two.

Knicks literally have no healthy big men. If the Wizards can't take advantage of that offensively, then... that's typical Wizards, I guess.

That's what they get for relying on Wallace, Thomas and Camby for depth, a 36-year-old, a 40-year-old, and a 39-year-old. Stoudemire was a health risk going into the season too. Seriously, was this not foreseeable? It's hard to shed tears about their bad "luck". It was stupid to rely on those guys in the first place. Frankly, they were lucky to get as many games out of them as they did.
The only bad break they've got is Chandler being hurt, which is roughly equivalent to us dealing with Nene playing with one arm and one leg.

We have a chance and should be able to kill inside. With that being said, I hope Witt doesnt go strictly post crazy because I think Wall can go off at the same time. His penetration could kill them and they have no bigs to stop him

I predict 11points, 7rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals, and 1 blocked shot from the Janchise.

We are a really really stupid organization. In one of the best drafts in many years, we are going to try to shoot for a 6th or 7th seed and not win a championship missing out on some potential superstars which by the way is the key for winning a title.
With half the league tanking next year, yes, the wizards if they put forth their best effort and stay healthy could win 50 games.
I hope we have some injuries next year(non serious). We need to be 22-60

You can't tank year after year after year. It erodes any sense of professionalism on the team. Besides, Wall is too good of a player at this point. It's impossible to tank with him playing 35 minutes a game. He would have to fake an injury. And that doesn't even factor the financial repercussions of fielding a team for 41 home games with the mission of losing.
Your complaints might appropriate right now for this moment in the season. We could easily tank by benching Nene and Webster and playing Vesely and Singleton 20+ minutes a game. But even so, we'd only move up from our current 8-10 range to something in the 5-7 range. Given how little distinction there is in this draft between the 1st and 10th picks, I don't think it'll make much difference.

call me crazy but I think we can actually get higher than 6th if everything falls into place and I also think that draft maybe a lil overrated. None of those guys have blown me away for how high theyre rated

Plus this year's draft is peanuts compared to next year's draft.

Ji has been on this same refrain for a decade. The best part is that when he finally got what he wanted -- an organization decimated by injury and dysfunction to the point a horrible record -- he complained about how bad we were. It's sort of lovable in its own way.
I now we have a lot of collective soreness about the opportunity cost of the OkaRiza trade and the Vesely and Singleton picks. Our bigs are old and there are lots of questions about how we build a contender from here. But the most important thing in the NBA is stars and we may have two of them, ages 22 and 19. In that sense, we're worlds ahead of where we were a year ago.

If we had a good GM, we could try to get a 2014 pick in some sneaky way.
