@StevevonHorn @brewhoop The version I heard was Udoh, Moute, Ersan and #15 for 3 and Okafor, Singelton, Vesely.

Only if Porter isn't available, and even then, that isn't a good haul. Udoh is bad and Moute is a liability offensively. seems like a bad haul...so EG might go for it.

Give up both the 3 and Okafor? No thanks. I'd rather keep it and draft Bennett to play at the 4.

I'm really tired of constantly seeing crap like this and having to convince myself our GM couldn't possibly make that mistake.

C'mon EG! Every damn time you tired to be creative we ended up with the Vesely's, Blatche's and Miller/Foye's of the world!! The only time where you didn't have to think we ended up with Wall and Beal.
Stop trying to be creative mutha f*cka!!!!

So f**king true! The team is headed in the right direction but I have zero trust in EG and almost pathologically assume he's going to screw things up. As much as there are some trades that would be worth exploring I don't think a GM trying to save his job in the next year is someone I feel comfortable with fairly evaluating a trade including the 3rd pick in the draft. Typically its the coach who looks short-term and the GM who looks down the road but Ernie has been thinking short-term to save his @ss for five years so whenever I hear trade rumors involving the Wiz I just automatically cringe.
That's pretty much business as usual in the life of a Wizards fan.

What clinches it as a bad trade, and what clinches it as a trade EG might try to rationalize, is the filler. I like Udoh and Moute more than Singleton and Vesely, but that's a pretty low bar to clear (and not by much), for about $8 million more guaranteed. This looks like another deal that addresses another team's salary issues and ties up more of the Wizards' payroll, without making the Wizards better in the long term.

I'd rather trade down for Derrick Williams and take Zeller at 9 than do this Illyasova deal.

Sounds like a Milwaukee pipe dream.

Agreed. The part that makes me doubt it is the inclusion of Okafor. EG and Wittman love Okafor. I just don't see the Wizards parting with him as part of the filler swap. He was literally the most productive player on the team last year.
If it was just #3 plus Vesely and Singleton for Ilyasova and #15, I'd buy the rumor.
Plus, adding Okafor to Milwaukee doesn't make much sense either. They already have Sanders, and Henson can play some C too.
Edit:
Oh yeah, and Udoh really sucks. He averaged less than 9 points per 36 minutes and rebounds about as much as Seraphin, despite being 3 years older. There could be some marginal benefit in adding Moute, but not much. He's worse than Ariza at SF and about the same as Booker at PF.

I feel the same way, I'm done with this team if they pull this crap.

He does look like Frankenstein's assistant. Doesn't mean he can't shoot. Just don't want to watch the replay in slow motion.

He'd make a killer "Dracula" for Halloween.

But it "appears" that the dance is on with-respect to trading with the Bucks, we should be very very fearful of what a desperate Ernie might do on draft night.
