LOL, Porter wants Trevor Booker's number. I think Booker could take down Porter in 1 second.

Should have been Noel.

Good pick! I would of picked Noel but I mean SF is a need Porter is a player who plays defense and has upside.
Very happy i love this pick more than Beal from last year we get a home grown player as well as a player who can exceed of that from the prince comparison. I wanted Bennet but I guess now we all know that he is too gifted ......

Yea I agree but in ways we already have Nene and Booker as well as FA ....we possibly can find a bigman that can spread the court like Diaw.

I give the dude a chance to prove he worth the pick. But if can I suggest trading up for Bennett.
But how will he add long term to the Wizards?

We've got our point, shooting guard, and small forward for the next 10 years. This team has never been in a situation where they have 3 legitimate, YOUNG, building blocks.

My thinking exactly.

I would have liked Noel, since he won't contribute right away and has great defensive upside. But he's really crappy offensively so I don't know. Porter is probably the safest pick and I'm fine with it.

Good kid. All-around ability. Hoya baby. It's hard not to be down with OPP. Would have loved Noel--and passing on him might come back to bite EG on the a**-- but Noel is dropping for some reason.

Wiz should have added Webster to long term plans. Isn't he only 26?!
Also 4th in 3point shooting?
He may not want to come back to Washington since you have three SF now. He may go somewhere that he can start now.

Than he can walk and we can use that money on a back up SG or PF/C
Porter is a good defensive player with good offensive upsides as well as his IQ in passing the ball around. I think yes a big man who can spread the court was needed but Porter is a guy that potentially at his best can be our best player .
We need a SF who can defend lebron/melo/Durant if we wanna try and reach deeper in the playoffs.
